Having a hard time - dejected and feeling beat
Not happy. Everything for me since PCa in 2017 has been negative and it continues. Lost inches from PCa RARP, SRT, ADT, atrophy and PD leading to plication with additional loss. Implanted with a CXR which from my readings and research is rarely used. Controlled Expansion Reduced. Scarring and narrowing so reduced cylinder size which allows very minimal girth expansion and no length expansion. You read that right no length expansion. Now 6 weeks out and cleared for whatever it's useful for. Now more issues with MS pump. Can deflate. Inflation is harder than hell. Like squeezing a rock. Then when valve pops hardly anything moves so no rock hard stiffness of penis. All this to get nowhere. Tried Inflation tonight only got slightly erect and I was covered in sweat. Just beat down and dejected. Wife refuses to help in any way so I have basically been doing this on my own. Even drove myself 200 miles each way to have surgery by myself. Guess I will keep trying as no u-turns once you're on this road. Sorry for length of comment. Regards
Second IPP Titan / Genesis. Experienced pretty much everything negative up to implant. Lost @ 2 inches from plication and atrophy. Willing to show and tell just an ordinary penis. Wish I had IPP much sooner.

Hi NorCol,
I wish you good luck with your implant.
Yes, CXR is rarely used but your doctor may have reasons for that.
Regarding inflating, the pump will be hard in the first week or two. That is why you won't be able to inflate to the maximum. It can take you up to a month or more to get a rock-hard erection.
Try pumping while taking a hot bath or shower. The pump will be easier to squeeze. Hang in there. You are just starting. It will be fine and your wife will love it.

I can tell you that the waiting game with your IPP is no fun. Beyond any doubt the IPP you've been given has serious limitations. But that having been said if I were you I would buy a cheap vacuum machine v e d and start using it everyday. Just to see how it helps. It will stretch you out in every direction and help your unit achieve its greatest potential. Good luck

If it’s not painful to pump, try using two hands if your not already. I grasp with two fingers and the thumb with whichever hand you prefer and then use other hand in a like manner to double the pressure. Don’t be afraid of it. Give it all you have. First few weeks are hard to pump but softens up quickly with cycling.
