Remember that most of the posts in this forum are the ones who had or have issues. There are many guys who have an implant that love it, have no problems with it and never post here. Probably many more who don't even know FT exists.
I kind of agree with the injection route, it was a real pain to have to go inject after getting in the mood. In the time I used Trimix it was good at first, but in 2-3 years my dose was way up and sometimes didn't work. The implant is great IMHO, no stress about keeping it up or finishing too quickly.
Bottom line is do you want to be sexless or be able to have the confidence that no matter what you can perform.

This may be an unpopular opinion. But you can attempt to maximize your earning potential to offset future revision costs. If you can increase your take home pay by $5k/year, then you then have already (statistically) more than offset any future revisions. Increase your take home pay by $20k, then its a moot point.
Titan OTR. Dr. Hakky - successful surgery and very happy with outcome.
My advice: choose a world-class surgeon and make yourself the healthiest you can.

After 2 years of impotency my wife and I were completely convinced that it was all in my head. So I went online and saw that they had a Doppler test that would show once and for all if it was a physical problem. Turned out to be severe venous leakage. That was the best test I've ever had. It told me exactly what I needed to do. Why don't you ask your doctor to set it up for you you can do a scarring and plaque test simultaneously in between the three of them they will tell you what you need to know. If you do have a diseased penis then it's just a matter of time before you'll need an implant. I decided to quit playing around and just fix the problem you might come to the same choice. Good luck

From my personal opinion, my implant is a magical miracle!

I never would have dreamed of its effectiveness or I would have gotten it a year earlier before I started doing damage with Trimix. I will add that I traveled to NYC to have it done by the master, Dr Eid.

Feel free to ask any questions or PM me.
75, used pills, injections -- all lost effectiveness. Titan implanted by Eid in Feb '22.

Please don't do this if your primary issue is mental. I know this goes well for most people but if it goes bad it can go real bad.

Couldn’t disagree more.

The mind is intrinsically linked to the process of an erection and arousal.

Some men can become so corrupted mentally and fearful of sex. So what should that man do when he’s exhausted all the useless psychological interventions and is missing out on life?

Especially when the odds are heavily in favour of a good outcome.
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

Just the fact that as a man you can't maintain to complete a sexual encounter with your partner is depressing enough on a guys mind. My implant gave me back my confidence and lifted me out of depression. 13 years of ED fighting it with pills and injections that eventually failed, making my depression worse as each method lost effectiveness.
My depression led me to say some things to my wife of 35 years that hurt her, bad. I admit it was an asshole move I regret. Main point is don't let things get that bad, keep your sanity, consider the options. If implant is the answer, I highly recommend seeking out a good urologist.
