Arthritis makes hands hurt when I pump the implant

Anyone else have this problem. I'm going to ask my physical therapist if there are exercises I could use to help. The voltaren gel helps a little bit, as does the krill oil supplement I take. But my implant requires me to put a fair amount of pressure on my thumb and fingers. I'm trying to get my wife to try doing it for me but as of now she's not all that keen on doing so. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
