I am now exactly 4 months out since Mike Fraser implanted me on Valentines day...
A very brief background of my story - 37 years old, type 1 diabetic, possible injury during sex approximately four years ago which resulted in my Peyronies which over the course of the next two years developed into a 90 degree dorsal curve and loss of length of approx. 2.5 inches.
Saw a number of urologists here in the uk before deciding on Dr Fraser, who implanted me with an 18cm titan.
When I came round after the operation and asked him what i had, I was surprised at the size, given I was a little over 8' in my prime and just under 6' pre op. But i was ok at being smaller, i didn't expect to be any
Anyway, recovery was good, cycling started at 6 weeks, and now I have no pain what so ever. Inflating and deflating is a piece of cake.
However, you can see from the photo, the tips do not go into my glans, or indeed anywhere near the glans. this results in floppy glans even when I fully pump and a bend towards the end of the shaft - albeit far far better than the bend pre-op - I do get some engorgement but as I have not used it yet for sex, I do not know what effect it will have. Ultimately I have been undersized, quite considerably i think, and want to know what my options are, or how to overcome it. I appreciate i could use PDE5's again but i didn't pay £15k for a new penis and still have to take Viagra to ensure decent sex.
I am UK based, so it was privately funded, and so do not have money readily available for any corrective surgery. If i could find the money, I assume it would just be a case of replacing the cylinders and leaving the pump and reservoir in situ? I assume recovery would be much easier as well?
or, am i just grossly over thing things and what I can do, as in move my glans 90 degrees when fully pumped, is pretty normal?
Am I overthinking things?

You are undersized for sure, I would think the doctor would correct it for free. LOL
Good luck with that!

Hi Jimmy85,
Sorry to hear that you have problem with the outcome of your implant.
It looks to me that you are really undersized from both the photo and measurements you provided. I didn't hear about dr. Fraser before and can't tell an opinion on him but seems everything is good with the implant except the sizing, which is a key factor of deciding the operation success.
You seem to be aware of everything about the procedure, before and after. So, what are the options here?
1. Contact your surgeon and request a clarification on the undersizing issue. Maybe he was faced by scar tissue that didn't allow him to use longer cylinders. Such cases need a very skilled implant surgeon.
2. You didn't try using your new tool yet. keep on cycling and try it out. If sex is convenient, despite the floppy glans, you may not need to spend a lot of money for a surgery now.
3. If not satisfied with sex or uncomfortable, you will have to find a way for a revision. You won't be able to know whether only the cylinders need to be replaced or the whole thing. Of course, if it is the same doctor, he has to take the financial responsibility, and you may need to pay a small percentage. It depends upon your feedback after contacting him. You may decide to completely avoid him.

He mentioned Mike Fraser in the first line. Maybe you didn't notice.
Jimmy, it is better to put your implant info in a signature.

Re: Am I overthinking things?
Thanks everyone.
Fran, or anyone else, i can't actually work out how to add a signature . haha. If someone could guide me that would be helpful. Thanks
My issue is, my surgeon does not believe i am undersized and just tells me to keep cycling. He says the cylinder tips should not go into the glans, which i believe is incorrect?
I do not want someone who undersized me in the first place to have another go on me regardless if it is free or not. What I have is usable, certainly far more useable than pre implant but aesthetically it looks a little strange with the top 1/4 at an angle and slightly floppy - Yes, if I was implanted with the proper size I might be an inch bigger but that really isn't a concern to me right now.

even if I do not have an implant yet and I will have to do it in a few months I have seen hundreds of implants here on FT and other channels, it is not a question of an inch more or less, here the tips do not reach the glans to be able to support it and have adequate penetration, this doctor needs to go to school, if you sue him you ruin him

There is only one word to describe your surgery - "Botched" with a capital "B". I would be reluctant to have him touch me again as he clearly does not know what he is doing. I know money is an issue, but perhaps you could arrange a consultation with Dr. Ralph who seems to have an excellent reputation to discuss your surgery and finance options.

Re: Am I overthinking things?
I have just emailed Dr Ralph.
I just realised , when i saw the Coloplast rep at the UCLH back in April to learn to deflate, i had to be put on the NHS list for that london borough. As luck would have it, Dr Ralph practices in the same borough and the UCLH so in theory I could be eligible for a NHS procedure.
Personally, i am not sure if I would call the operation botched, as it works better than pre-implant but I do feel much of the tubing and clearly I have been undersized.
I don't want to go through another 8 week recovery but i guess if i want the perfect dick then it will be worth it.
