3 weeks implanted. Disappointed

I’ve been reading and researching on this site for over a year… I hope I will follow the majority of posts I’ve read …..but…. My pumped length and injected length was a hair under 7” for past 6 months prior to implant and even did a measurement the night before with injection. 7” length…. 5-1/2 base, 5-1/4 mid and just behind glans. Always got a fairly good engorged gland and spongeosum. Started pumping gently at 15 days and by 18 days was maxed out using two hands. Days 18-21 was able to keep maxed for 30-40 minutes before glans started burning enough to deflate. My big disappointment is I’m only 5-3/4 “ long!!!!! I know everyone says it will come back in time and I know I’m only started… BUT… that’s over an inch!!! And girth is about even 5” all the way down shaft. Maybe a little larger tight against base.
Now for an even bigger disappointment, the wife took it in her hands and when I asked she said if you want the honest answer it feels small! In diameter and length… and just feels wierd as it is totally oval and no engorgement at all… thinking with nerves and all… very little excitement for a turn on…. Maybe I’ll get some engorgement this weekend when we really are able to go at it… probably take a Cialis to maybe help it along… just very disappointed. Hugh worries that I got undersized..my Dr is a high volume implanter and said he put the max he could with the size of my cavernosa…. I got 20 with 1 rte. A few weeks earlier a friend of mine who measured a true 8” got a 22cm with 1cm rte. So in comparison we are equal, but he is also 1” short and he’s about 7-8 weeks in and has seen only a fraction of a gain in length… is there hope for full size back? Please!!! Encouragement NEEDED!

Do you recall your size with a natural erection not aided by a pump or injection?
I'd base my expectations on that.

Are the tips up near the end of the glans?
If so, I doubt you were undersized, but what do I know?

I wish your wife had been a bit more diplomatic.

I can understand your disappointment, was there myself after implant. I put my faith in the VED and Perito exercise and have been able to regain more than half an inch back in 3.5 months. It takes a concerted effort. And as for glans engorgement, you have likely read the FT guys experiences with what helps them -- good idea to try the Cialis first.

Some men take over a year of cycling & stretching to get to their final size. Also, despite how you feel. The VED & injection sizes do not accurately reflect your true size. I always suggest that men not measure until the 6 month mark. Right now you have swelling in your pubic fat pad that makes your length look short. Also, your penis will retract due to the trauma of the sugery. Stop measuring, it just causes you grief for no valid reason.

Thanks … crazy. I was getting good engorgement with trimix and Cialis when I used both before so hoping Cialis will help, I really don’t want to use the trimix gel as we love a lot of oral… lol. .
Gt it’s hard for me to wrap my head around the FACT that in two weeks I can loose a full inch plus… also I don’t see my injected length being any different as what I should get with implant? The cavernosa was getting filled with blood before albeit assisted by trimix but still implants should be able to stretch out your cavernosa as much or more than your own bodies blood pressures amount… hoping for the best… prepared for the worst

I understand your concerns about size loss and engorgement after implant. However, I believe implant should not affect negatively your original size, and if you used to get good engorgement with Cialis before implant, you will still get it after.
Also, measurements comparisons don't always provide authentic results. Some men implanted with shorter cylinder lengths (+rte) have longer penises than others with way longer cylinders. I can't tell why, but this is what I can see from many posts here.

I am only 4.5 inches and probably came short by few it doesnt matter as its anyways small enough but whats important is that I have a working dick., Whats the point of having a 8 inch dick that doesnt perform vs a 6 or 7 inch dick that doesnt stop at all?? Life is all about compromises. There is no material significance between 8 to 6 as such in my opinion. Its sad your wife feels disappointed and made you even more.. If you get your inches back in 6 months to a year its good if not enjoy what you have..

Keep cycling aggressively and follow the instructions of Dr.Perito perhaps that will help. I am gonna try it when I am fully healed.

and I believe when its time for revision( whenever it is) the size will be even larger.

I have seen this same story many times in here.Keep cycling and you should see some gains over time.I lost the same about post surgery and have gained it back.

I agree with Thomas on this. VED, and medications can give you a larger penis than a natural erection. And your healthy erection is a bit larger than IPP and all that is due to blood being forced and held in your penis. This does not happen with IPP. But that being said you should get close to your natural erection size with a good doctor. For men with life long ed then maybe in some cases gains due to the natural process never ever working properly an increase. Depending on the make of your implant you can have gains for years as men who get replacements after years of use with the first received larger cylinders the second time around. I had done a lot of reading before I had my surgery and told myself I would not judge this for one year post op. That paid off. I had gains with an LGX out past the first year. And I would guess close to a 2" increase from my first inflation at activation to now. Yes you are early and it is good to measure so you can see months from now how much you improved. The first time I had sex with a women with my implant I was an 1" or so shorter than I am now and I told her it would get bigger with time and it would be as hard as she liked for as long as she liked.

My advice to you is to follow your doctors orders and cycle as close to those instructions. And to continue that until you are fully healed and then you can start more aggressive cycling adding pumps. Your doctor may also have instruction for using VED post surgery. Follow those and again if your doctor dose not have instructions for VED use you can consider trying it after you are fully healed. In the mean time use it like as often as you can. Once your doctor releases you for sex then the more the better.

Measure every week for about the first month. Then slow down on that to every month or so. Right now though it is important that you heal and protect against infection. That risk is going down the farther away from your surgery date you get. You trusted your doctor for this surgery so trust his advice and follow it. Once you are released and fully healed you can try other things to quicken size increase. Of course it does not hurt to ask your doctor about Ved use and other protocols and if your doctor ok it then go ahead. Just be careful with VED use as it can cause damage.
