Sitting after surgery…

Postby iwantanewone » Fri May 27, 2022 9:53 am

Hey guys… Second recovery question of the Day…After you read about my peeing… Lol… :D Maybe you’ll have some input on this… I really cannot sit up like on the sofa or certainly not in a chair… I did have scrotoplasty with my implant… 11 days out of surgery…I’m only OK in bed Lying down in bed elevated with a motorized bed… But to sit on a chair or something is still very painful like all of the equipment under the testicles is very sore… Any idea when I can expect this to calm down or how to sit?

I’m still running around the house in a shirt only… No underwear or anything… My penis does not want anything to touch it even a light sheet… Still the stabbing pains in the penis from the nerves… At some point I probably need to be able to get dressed at least in underwear… :D :D I

I have purchased several items that were mentioned on Frank talk… Different types of underwear and so forth… But if a light sheet doesn’t work then no underwear is not working either at this point… Any idea when this should calm down? My doctor says I’m doing normally well like everyone and not to worry… Thanks Guys… Happy Memorial Day weekend!

Certainly not downplaying your descriptions - though, reminder, you had major surgery to very sensitive parts.

I had to wear jock strap with penis pointed up for 3 weeks - while uncomfortable - it was not painful.....tolerable.

If the pain, as you describe, is that intense, perhaps its time to ask for consult and ensure there is no infection or side issues.

If you aren't swollen (abnormally) and the bruising is subsiding, I would recommend taking it easy a little bit longer and don't rush things.

Hope you find some relief soon!

Thanks squad… I did speak to my surgeon yesterday and he thinks everything is fine… Just remember that I had scrotoplasty as well so that makes it significantly worse… Trying to get the boys comfortable in some underwear… The penis pain he says is normal also with the nerves trying to settle down… So I may just be a wuss… But trying to figure out how to be able to have people over and be able to sit up on chairs or a sofa rather than elevated in a bed… people that I’ve talked to on Frank talk say that it’s not abnormal When you had scrotoplasty to not be able to sit for a while… But, I will keep your advice But this coming Tuesday will be just two weeks out from what I understand what I’m feeling is not abnormal… Thanks again for your information!
