Peeing after implant

Postby iwantanewone » Fri May 27, 2022 9:43 am

Hey guys… Recovery question again… I’m 11 days out of surgery and finally the suffering is now chronic pain… I don’t think I’m dying anymore. :D

My question is that I wake up in the middle of the night every few hours and feel like I have to pee because my penis hurts… It’s not how I normally felt I had to pee… Did anyone have unusual peeing after surgery and do you return to normal with recovery? I never woke up at night before to Pee…It’s not like my brain is saying get up and go pee… it’s like my penis hurts more than normal during this recovery and I think if I pee I’ll feel better…

I don’t pee a lot and when I go pee… Just 200 cc…But I’m not drinking the amount of caffeine I normally drank prior to surgery either… Also, the area between my legs on the sides and my pubic area are super tight… is this normal swelling and to be expected.

Still feeling regrets but waiting for week three to see if things are substantially better…. Thanks for all the input and replies and advice.! Happy Memorial Day weekend!

Hi Friend,

I meant to address this when we spoke yesterday. You had a catheter in your bladder for quite a while, which can be quite traumatic. What you are going thru is bladder spasms while things settle down. I also went thru this.

Your Dr. can prescribe meds to help with the spasms if they keep happening. So long as there is no bladder infection or UTI all should get back to normal soon.

Thanks Mark… Enjoyed speaking with you yesterday… My surgeon normally does not use a catheter after surgery… However my bladder did not want to wake up so I ended up being admitted to the hospital for one day and had a catheter for 12 hours… But, with that being over 10 days ago I would think my bladder spasm should calm down… IAs we talked about I am a side sleeper and I’m forced to sleep on my back so I think I just wake up and then I wake up and think I have to pee and that’s what happens… So, I don’t know if this is going to calm down prior to me being able to get back on my side sleeping…

Still trying to find underwear that I can sustain right now and begin moving my penis around as you and I talked about…But it still hurts… Lol… As I just posted in my other post… I might just be a big wuss! I hope y’all have a great Memorial Day weekend!
