Pump positions
Does anyone know how I know if my pump is in the right position… I am eight days postop and my surgeon did not say anything about pulling the pump down, moving it or even to touch it… It seems like it’s high and I don’t want it to be stuck to anything… Nor am I wanting to touch it right now anyway because of the soreness… Just wondering if I need to check on anything or assume it’s fine but I don’t see the surgeon for five weeks… Any suggestions?

Re: Pump positions
Ask you surgeon...
I never had to pull or position my pump in any way - and my pump is not an issue at all.
Ask your Dr before pulling on anything.

Re: Pump positions
I believe it's mainly for those who had infrapubic as the position of bulb will be higher hence the need for pulling it down which you can share within couple of days as there is no scar in scrotum. But for prescrotal that's not an issue typically as the bulb is well placed so no need to pull it down and you can't pull it down as your scrotum is healing. Check with your surgeon if you feel it's positioned up
