Changes with revisions

My first implant lasted just about 3 years before failing. I lost only a bit of length with that unit. On revision, I was given a longer implant but seem to have lost 1.5 inches in length. I am aggressively cycling but do not seem to be gaining. I now have about 6.5 inches so still enough to work with except in a seated position. It seems that my dick retracts into my body leaving only 1 inch outside. This makes penetration impossible in that position.

Anyone else have loss with revisions?

Did the same surgeon install both implants? You shouldn't lose any dick length (after appropriate cycling) as long as your surgeon sizes you properly.

I have heard that people usually gain 1-2 cm with revision.

Originally implanted by Dr Cramer. He has left the area. Revision was done by Dr Mendez. She seemed very knowledgeable and very competent. I am hopeful to get back some length but gaining 1.5 inches seems not likely. On the plus side I did gain almost inch in girth with revision.

I have heard that people usually gain 1-2 cm with revision.

The gain is usually in the implant's length. Whether that corresponds to usable penis length is affected by a number of factors. how much the depth of insertion into the man's crus changes or how much compression of glans tissue absorbs that extra implant length, for example.
