Pump has migrated?

Postby BionicMan2022 » Sat May 21, 2022 6:04 pm

Things were going so well. A solid month since the surgery. No pain. I was cycling every day. It was getting easier and I was even seeing some size gains. Then suddenly Friday night I felt something wrong. My pump was very uncomfortable. I felt a much larger lump and couldn’t identify the bulb or the deflate button. Not sure what had moved or why I went to the emergency room. They took a CT scan and confirmed the reservoir was still in good position. The pump was just twisted and out of position. The urologist on call tried hard to reposition it but failed. He sent me home recommended to see my surgeon early next week. Shit guys. Anyone else have this happen? Thoughts? Suggestions?

No, but I do have a message in to him via that portal. Also the Urologist I saw at the ER requested the surgeon schedule an appointment for me. I am hopful to see him tomorrow. I will update here then.

Your issue is seemingly what caused my second implant to be removed - had a hematoma in the sac for the bulb that eventually popped a healed scrotal stitch from the built up pressure. I would check with your implant surgeon asap. Seems you have also had a bleed into the pouch they made for your pump.

Hope your issue is minor and needs no revision. My bleed happened the first time we got to use it intercourse - seems when manipulating the pump a blood vessel at the scar site began to leak internally.

Let us know what your Dr says
