Day 3 post implant

Been 48 hours since implant at Baylor,Scott and White in Dallas Plano so today begins my 3rd day as a bionic…. Layed around and iced most of the first 24 without much discomfort at the motel next door to surgery center and no pain meds. Took a pain pill at 10pm first nite to help sleep. Day two got up and my wife drove me 300 miles home to central arkansas… so took a pain pill just before leaving and had a very comfortable trip stopping twice to walk and pee. Layed around rest of the day at home. Walked around for an hour late in evening but iced all evening. Second nite no pain meds and sleep best I have in a long time. 6 straight hours then up to pee and slept two more. Most pain I’m experiencing is in my abdomen where the resivor is. Also my resivor shows very noticeable and it’s exactly where it shouldn’t be! Right on my belt line where my pants go. Even smashed it out flat when I wear my elastic shorts, then over next hour comes back out. With being about 1/2 pumped the resivor is very noticeable, concerned that it will be much worse when deflated which will put more fluid in it. Over all very happy. Can feel whole pump and dump valves even pushed the pump Just enough to know I can. Going to keep moving it around several times a day so as not to start adhering to wall anywhere. Will post up again in a day or two.

Good luck sir. I am in day 3 as well post op. Tuesday was my surgery. We need to follow our doctors advice to the tee. All will be fine in due course.
