This. To smooth out the dog ears I typically have one, no more than two in the chamber at all times. This is maximum comfort for me. However - it also depends on attire. With some thin dress pants, two pumps reveal too much.

I like to try and deflate my penis as much as possible to make it as small and natural. I find that if I have a few pumps in it I am often reminded that I have an implanted penis and I like to not always be thinking about my dick lol

Dealing with glans hypermobility, tips are uneven, poke in to me during sex and while flaccid, causing discomfort.

Inflating just for bigger show or fun, or cycling, it all makes me horny.

Many men put a pump in to "lock" the valve. This never made sense to me because I don't need to do that with my implant. What they testify is that the implant, when fully deflated, will "auto-inflate" from saline flowing from the reservoir into the implant without pumping. Something about the one-way valves in the valve body not closing properly, I suppose.

Anyhow, the advice is to, after deflating, put a single pump in to prevent more flow from reservoir to implant. Apparantly works for some who have that problem.

After my initial 'lesson' in deflating and the all important inflating technique (some 6 weeks after the procedure in 2018), I have never fully deflated my Titan. I never liked the look I had when the surgeon's PA squeezed the hell out of me. I looked so deformed after that and vowed never to go back to that shape/ look. Since it takes nearly 20 full pumps to get to full inflation, I use between 5 and 7 to obtain the look and feel I want. As many mentioned before, it's a personal choice...
