24 Hours til “D” day!

Postby Rider1400 » Tue May 17, 2022 9:11 am

This will be my last post as a 56 year old man with ED. I check in at 6am tomorrow morning at Baylor Scott and White in Plano Tx. Dr Wierschem will be installing a Coloplast implant infrapubic. I’m exactly 7” when injected and the same when max pumped so hoping for at least a 22cm implant as I know the tips don’t go all the way out to the tip of glands, using the 1/3in 2/3 out average. As is usual I’m having the normal butterflies about surgery but feel like I have researched this thing to the ends of the earth! Feeling good and ready to get it done. As mentioned in earlier post I took a bad fall into a below deck hold hatch on my houseboat and tore two rotator muscles, my bicep and fractured my shoulder on the 22nd of last month and had surgery on the 28th. Just less than three weeks later I’m very much improving every day and have some movement with my arm. I’m also able to take it out of the sling as long as I stay immobile from shoulder to elbow. I’ve spoke with my orthopedic surgeon and he wrote a letter to my implant surgeons saying there should not be any reason to postpone my implant.Dr Wierschem also agreed to do the surgery knowing I had the shoulder issues. Been a really rough 3-1/2 weeks but feeling prepared and ready to get implanted. I’ll post back on Thursday the 19th about my progress.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast with Classic pump 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong

Follow the drs orders and in a month or so you’ll be feeling like an 18 year old stud in the bedroom. My mental health went from pissed off that I had ED to bring it on. Good luck and remember, it’s your first time having this surgery but it’s not the surgeons first time, you’ll be fine. Welcome to the club.
