Nasty Infection on Scrotum

Postby Howling8 » Sat Apr 30, 2022 5:27 pm

I'm posting this to hopefully prevent someone else of going through this. I have kinked tubing that presses right at the base of my shaft and hurts especially after using the implant. So I started using the Lidocaine and Diclofenac topical that the ER at the VA prescribed and ended up with an atopic dermatitis infection and possible cellulitis from being allergic to lidocaine or Diclofenac. It's like a bad burn with little blisters and hurts like hell and on a heavy regiment of Menthylprednisolone, two antibiotics and an antibiotic topical cream. It's getting better but they warned it could travel thru the skin barrier on my scrotum and infect the implant.
Thanks

I'm guessing/hoping there was no infection, just a long recover? Is there anyway you could've known this before hand by testing it on your arm or does this reaction only occur on certain body parts?
