question for the implanted boys who still worked viagra and levitra 80%
there are guys here that the penis was 80% functional with large doses of viagra or levitra and decided to implant? after having implanted it would have been better to continue with viagra and levitra until they stopped working or was it better to implant? 80% better sex with natural erection or better implanted with 100% sex without erection?

In my experience the PDE5 inhibitors are unpredictable. They work great 80% of the time for the guys for whom they are usually effective, but don't the other 20%. Disadvantages also include the unpleasant side effects (headache, congestion, dizziness), not to mention the waiting period after taking the drugs. For many guys implants are preferable.
Without the troublesome side effects, and if I could be assured I could ALWAYS get 80% of the erection I wanted, I might stick with them. But Viagra has worked only marginally well for me. I still can't stay hard enough to penetrate. Same with injections and VED's. I have an appointment to discuss options, including an implant, on June 9.

ED since using SSRI antidepressants. Unable to maintain erection sufficient for penetration. Tried PDE5's, VED, injections. AMS 700 CX implanted 8/1/2022, penoscrotal by Dr. McVary, Loyola medical center. 15cm + 1.5 and 1.0 RTE's. 65 ml reservoir.

My experience was that the pills lost effectiveness over time.
If you are having to take heavy doses of Viagra or Levitra to have an 80% chance of having a hard on good enough for sex, it doesn't sound like pills are working the way they should.
I never felt like I had a natural hard on when I was using pills. I am much happier with my implanted hard on than I ever was taking pills.

Absolutely great question!!! I still can function with 60mg of sildslifil. I have to hurry the deed and/or use a cock ring or I will eventually get soft. Also if I get “near” an orgasm my body responds as if I actually had a full orgasm and it’s over. So another way of asking the question is if you could still perform most of the time but you went ahead and got an implant anyway, would you have done it again??
63yr old. PDwith 40% dor. Curve. Pre-PD 7”x6”.lost 2 in. due to PD. ED prior to PD. Switched from Sildalifil to Trimix Nov 2023 . Currently titrating Trimix for optimization.
