Very good question. I can only reply as to what I've read of others experiences. Medicare does cover the procedure but normal co-pays do apply. As I understand it, you'll be responsible for 20%. If you have other insurance. You could end up 100% covered or perhaps less depending on your secondary coverage.

I used Blue Cross Advantage over Medicare and so far they have been covering 100%.

Re: Implant Surgery covered by Medicare
I had/have an Aetna supplement that cost a fortune.
It covered everything except for an assistant my goddam doctor used who wasn't covered by Medicare.
She was to cost about $3k, but they charged me $500. I was pissed, but the office manager happily told me nah, nah,
nee, nah, nah, you signed a paper that said we could bring in extra help.
I was treated like a king in the hospital for 1 day.

To be clear are you saying you used Medicare and have the Blue cross Advantage as a supplement?
Thank you

I used Medicare and Tricare4Life in November 2018 for my implant surgery. Virginia Urology, their Ambulatory Surgery Center, doctors, anesthesiologists, MRI follow-up, etc....all were covered. I was 71 at the time. I didn't pay a dime.
