protocol for straightening with implant

Postby artful todger » Tue Mar 08, 2022 3:05 pm

I went for my 1st inflation today 3 1/2 weeks since my opp. I've been totally deflated since day 2 because of a hematoma at the pump which is slowly improving. My curve was over 80 % before the opp, dr ralph said it went down to 30% fully inflated at surgery but it's gone back to about 45 now. H e says it will improve now i start cycling etc but i'm a bit concerned that i have dog ears right where my curve is which bends in that exact spot when i deflate.

Is there a protocol for straightening a bend with an implant? Is their a journal anywhere from someone who's managed to improve it?

Also if i put my dick pointing upwards when i put boxers and clothes on it makes the curve really bad flacid, it almost bends back on itself. Is there something i can do about this, pointing it downwards is just too uncomfortable at the moment.

Thanks in advance for replies.

Hi artful.

Don’t panic. It will get better each week. You are already almost half of what you were so that’s great.

As we have both found out, everyone is different.

For instance, my 80 degree curve is now gone but I am somehow still erect even tboigh I am deflated and with my blood flow I could actually have sexually without pumping-

I am desperate to start cycling but am having issues with deflating

Keep cycling and each week your curve will lessen and you will grow.

Thanks jimmi, that's amazing that you are straight, what a result.

My plaque is very big and embedded, years of traction and VED did nothing to it, so i suppose it's ok. If i can get it down to 20/ 25 i'd be well happy.

He said i still have quite alot of tissue etc around the deflate valve so he said come again next week for inflate/deflate lessons but he did say i could have a go if i like. But he told me plenty of people turn up 100% inflated because they cant finf the deflate button ha ha. Wouldn't fancy going up there on the train in that state :D

At my worst, I had a 90-degree bend, hinging and a huge plaque mass covering 2/3 of the dorsal side of my dick. 700+ hours of traction reduced the curve to 60-degrees (according to doctor) prior to surgery. Surgical notes indicate he spent a long time breaking up the plaque. I asked how and he said to just be thankful I was asleep. He claimed the curve was reduced to 30-degrees, but I think it was less than that. He taught me how to model to further aid in straightening it out, which is much like the Perito exercise. Inflated, I firmly grasp the base and bend my dick in the opposite direction of the curve, pushing to the point of pain, and then holding it there. By doing this a few times daily after I started cycling has made my dick almost completely straight. Might work for you too Artful, but you should check with your doctor first.

Thanks stevesw . How long did you hold the bend against the curve ie minutes?

My system was to apply the pressure and try to hold it for 60 seconds. I repeated that 3 times every morning and evening. I cycle twice a day anyway, so it wasn't a chore, just a little painful while doing it. In a matter of a few weeks, what was left of the curve was gone, and has stayed gone.

I also hold it Perito style against the curve -- till my eyes tear up :x

Actually I am nearly over the fear that it might break... still it is a fearsome exercise, but the progress I am making gives me the courage to persevere :P

Hey SteveSW,

I'm a young titan implantee dealing with post surgical curve. Interesting thing was, my original peyronie curve was completely cured post opp, then came back years later. I want to try your method before taking time to revisit surgeon (although I will likely do that anyways).

Just to clarify what you are doing: Once you are mostly inflated, you will bend your penis to opposite site of the curve so that stretching is applied to the plaqued area? And in total, you are only doing this about 6 times per day?

I have such a funny case because i know no one else who, after the titan cured the curve for the first few years, had it come back for no obvious reason. Now my curve isn't that bad and not nearly what it was pre-op, but still enough to make me wonder if something is wrong.

Thank you
Titan OTR. Dr. Hakky - successful surgery and very happy with outcome.
My advice: choose a world-class surgeon and make yourself the healthiest you can.

Cnidium,
Yes, max inflated, twice a day, 3 times each. Not arduous and worked for me. I can't speak to your curve coming back, that's a new one on me.

You got it -- be sure to hold the base with one hand while bending the against the curve with the other -- so pleasant...
