Cuming

Postby Confusedjourney » Fri Mar 04, 2022 8:05 am

Does anyone have trouble cuming. I’m 31/2 months in and at first I had to use my hand after sex to cum but then I no longer had to. Now last night things went backwards where I had to again. I’m confused.

I had a prostatectomy with lots of internal nerve damage on top of the external damage to my penis. It took 4 months to get back to normal. It still takes a lot longer to get there.

I'm having the same problem. I'm 4 months out and was coming by hand ok but not sex which is a bummer. I have to get my self to the trigger point and then we resume sex to the finish. Now I either can't come or it takes forever even by myself. Not sure what to do. I take cabergoline but it doesn't seem to help at all. I had the problem before the implant occasionally but now I have less sensation. None of the 'oh damn that feels good" feelings anymore.

This has been covered on a number of threads in the past. And even in the viewforum.php?f=22 section of this forum. I know that after surgery I couldn't even with masturbation. I would try and get tired and just give up. Then I could but it took a long time. My partners could not last that long. I am quicker now but as with anything it most always works but not a few times. No real big deal for me.

What I think is it is that things are a bit different now. The way I achieved orgasm is not the same. So I have to re-learn. Or find other triggers. The good part is most all I have read on this have had improvements over time. I was always slow to orgasm and always would not let myself to do so unless my partner had at least once. So I was not a stranger to my ex-wife or other women having an orgasm and then me not having one. There is a psychology part of this also. Mostly I read about it for women but it works both ways in that everyone of us are responsible for our own orgasm. No one can give us one. It is a gift to ourselves. So we can't give one to another we just need to not mess it up for them.

There was a guy on this forum who spent a buch a time in doctors offices and different treatments. Then when all that was over it just happened. All was good. So no worries guys. Chances are very good that things will just continue to improve.

Best of luck to you both.

Sensation will return but it takes time. Lots of nerves were jostled around during the surgery, and nerves regenerate slowly. I was never fast or slow to finish, but after my implant it was slow, slow. Sometimes I'd wear out before finishing. Now it's no issue, still takes just a bit longer but no complaints from the wife! If I remember right about month 6-7 is when I really began to notice increased sensations.

Why did you use iboprophen with sex? Is that necessary? Just asking, I am in 12th day since implant (03/04/22). See the doctor for the first time this coming Monday (21st). Really no discomfort, bruising or swelling. I religiously still take 600mg of Mortrim very 6 hours to help.

I have been asking myself how (if any) painful will the first time post op having sex be? Thanks

The nice thing about "coming too soon" when implanted is......you can keep going and going and going.... Good luck man!!!

I think you’re over thinking it. I’ve had nothing but great sex and I’m 7 months post op. Take your rain out of the game. Get oral before sex if you need to. Besides doesn’t not cumming and lasting a very very very long time satisfy your partner? That should be enough for you to get there too. Just my thoughts

I never took any ibuprofen or any pain meds since my surgery. I was able to walk a couple miles a day within 3 days of surgery and have never had unbearable pain, just general discomfort from time to time, especially sitting. I am 8 weeks out. I was cleared for sex at week 4 and tried immediately, I was able to orgasm but the first event was almost unbearably painful. I tried twice more over the past few weeks, but it was too painful and frankly not worth it...LOL...so I avoided it until just the last couple days. The last experience was a bit painful but much better now after 8 weeks. So depending on your pain tolerance you may need some pain meds the first few weeks after you are cleared. Noticing the difference in pain level between week 4 and week 8, at this rate of progression in the next 2-3 weeks I expect to be pretty pain free...and nobody should lay down near me after that.
Age 54, venous leak and some scarring, tried daily/occasional Cialis for awhile then a few months various doses of tri/quad mix. Either helped and would produce 50-60%.erections, but never really full. Implanted 1/20/22 26cm” Titan- Dr. Hakky
