Flaccid pain
Evening gentlemen, I was recently implanted 1/31 & have been instructed to start cycling this week of which I’m doing! However, my doctors assistant said to inflate until bulb becomes hard then immediately deflate! After doing so I’m not sure if I’m actually fully inflated as I tend to stop when it becomes uncomfortable. Additionally, I’ve also noticed that when fully deflated I have penile pain but if I add s pump or two that pain immediately goes away. Anyone else have this issue & if so what action did you take to resolve the pain. I’m not schedule to see my doc until March 11 of which would be the 6 week mark & am curious if when should I be leaving it inflated for the 20-60 mins of which many of the threads mention. Thank you.

Re: Flaccid pain
your case may be very different from most others because of the aus install also. I would follow the dr instructions. I have both installed at different times. Both installs had a good deal of pain.

Re: Flaccid pain
It is common to start off with just a max inflation and immediate deflation. If you check your packet from AMS there should be a DVD in it that list as a start of a protocol for cycling. You need to get information from your doctor however as to what you should do as this varies. The pain may be "dog ears". When a stiff tube bends it will make points where it bends. Like bending an empty wrapping paper roll. Adding a pump or 2 will lessen this. Some say to fully deflate to help with reservoir space. Having it full will prevent scar tissue from forming that will restrict full deflation. The cylinders will soften and you will adjust to this when you heal but that will take time. I did put a pump or two in mine for 2 reasons. One the pain and 2 I was having some auto inflation so by popping the bulb and switching to inflate mode it kept more fluid in my reservoir.
As far a inflating to the max and having pain we are all different. But this is your work now and you should do as much as you can and follow your doctors instructions. You should call and find out what the protocol is going forward and follow it the best you can.
Take care and good luck.

Re: Flaccid pain
Thank you of course I will continue to follow the doctors. I was very curious but also understand that my situation may be different having both implanted simultaneously. Moreover, I will continue to add 1-2 pumps when flaccid as it does prevent the slight pain
