Walking around vs lying down

Postby jimmi85 » Sat Feb 19, 2022 11:58 am

Am now 5 days since my implant. As far as I can tell all went well.

I am in very little to no pain when lying down, flat on my back with legs stretched. I’m getting more back ache tbh than anything else!

However, as soon as I get up to grab a drink or go for a Wee, I’m in absolute agony and have to collapse back onto the couch within a few minutes.

Is this normal? And if so, what can/should I be doing to alleviate the pain?

Thanks

J85,
Same here. I learned early on that a snug fitting athletic supporter was my best option. Me and jock straps became buddies for about 6 weeks.
Your equipment has gone through a bit of trauma. Your package needs a little support.
You WILL get through this, and the end result will be great. Hang in there...supported,

Like stmfttr, I wore jock's 24 hours a day for a good month. I couldn't let my balls hang or swing because it hurt, and the strap held my partially inflated dick upright. It did get better every day...so will you

Thanks guys, I’ve just ordered some jock straps off Amazon.

Funnily enough I looked at them pre surgery but went for some separetec and David archy boxers instead due to their anti bac materials and pouch but neither seem to help.

It’s a very strange feeling, feeling pretty much normal when lying down on the couch like nothing is wrong yet when I stand up and walk for 30 seconds it’s like I’m dangling a 20kg weight with my balks set on fire.

I'm 1 day behind you and am experiencing the same thing. I can see how the compression helps but wonder if it pushes the pump up too much?

I have also been getting intense pain behind my pubic bone on the left side near the end of the day. Found that a morning walk helps with that as well so I’ll try walking 15 - 20 minutes before bed and see if it helps.

Gotta say the clean shave was nice for a few days but starting to get itchy now and feels like sandpaper on the top of my penis lol.
Suffered from ED from mid 30's. Used pills, Tri-mix, and eventually graduated to a high dose of Quad-mix.

Wow the jockstrap is helping a lot already. They arrived today and putting them on was like crawling into a nice warm bed. Great advice, thank you guys! I think the walking before bed helped too.

How about you jimmi85? Hope you had the same luck.

I ordered the same ones they sent me home in:

Yup, for some reason the hair grows fast...AND the hair seemed to be 3x courser.
I placed a couple of tissues between the penis and the "stubble" and put on the jock.
Remember guys...Follow the doc's instructions and for heaven's sake call their office if you have questions. Be sure to keep that area clean.

For the backache, elevte your knees (with legs spread, perhaps, whichever is more comfortable). A pillow or rolled-up blanket under your knees might help, too.

It seems your other question has already found a satisfactory solution.

Be well
