Pump Issues

Hi I’m 3 months in. I was pumping with my fingers going left to right on the pump around 20 pump s. Now all of a sudden it seems that even though the pump gets hardened, that there’s a lot more pumps that can be done going in front to back. In other words, the initial pumping is like 9 o’clock and 3 and then 12 and 6. Anybody else have this?
