Suggestions for pumps to use prior to surgery

Postby personfromon » Thu Jan 27, 2022 11:34 am

Hi all,

I have my surgery booked for Dr. Hakky March 31st this year. I am looking to get on a pumping regimen ASAP to maximize the length I am able to keep.

Does anyone have any suggestions for pumps to buy that will ship to Canada? Do they make a huge difference? Is there a difference in one that is used for "extra curriculars" as opposed to "medically necessary" (which I think I'd consider mine to be :D )

Any input here is much appreciated, thanks!

Pumps are available in the US all over the place. Sex shops, Amazon, Pharmacy's, ect... As this is for therapy you don't need the constriction rings unless you also want to use it for sex. Get one with a gauge if you can. This way you can make sure you do not over do the vacuum. And remember to go slow when pumping. To fast will cause damage that can shorten you instead of helping regain size loss. The automotive type https://www.amazon.com/Choice-Precision ... c&sr=1-125 you really need to be careful with as they create vacuum really fast and you need to pump really slow.

In the general section of this board under documents worth reading thread is a good article with a lot of information on Penis Exercise with a VED. It explains it really well and gives you all the info you need. While you are waiting to get your VED it is worth the time to read.

I ratify everything Newbie443 posted.

A vacuum is a vacuum and the hardwarde used to create it makes absolutely no difference to your penis. Differnces in the hardware are important in service life, ease of use and fit, so your question is pertinent. (Unfortunatelly I cannot help much there, having only used one VED ever).

Short answer: Sex shop VEDs work as well as medical grade, but may not last as long.

I am far from an expert on this topic, but I know some decent advice.

I bought the BOS-2000-2. I did a minimal amount of research. Looked at several different review pages that seemed somewhat trustworthy. It was recommended as an option. One reason I bought is because it's battery powered and personally I assumed pumping it manually would be a hassle. Another reason I bought it is because it was not cheap. The product works well for me and I think it's well-made.

I've also heard from several people who would have some experience on this topic that a LeVuv from ebay is a good option. You can get a lot of different sizes cylinders, and I think that's important. Make sure you learn and understand what size cylinders you will need. I can't tell you how to do that, cause I didn't know I needed to do it, and it's been a pain lol.

And if you or others have not seen it, I wrote my opinion on the importance of using a VED before and after implant if you wish to regain or increase size. But my opinion is also supported by evidence from research studies: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=18561

Goal to prove implants increase dick size

Current: 9-9.5" x 5.5"

I'm a big fan of LeLuv products that you can buy off of Ebay. You'll need to purchase a separate hand pump and tubing, but some of their packages come with one. They make a variety of diameter cylinders, depending on your girth and experience with using a VED. The bases are beveled, so you don't need a rubber sleeve, you can just have the pump up against the skin. very comfortable. I've progressively gone up from a 2 inch diameter to now a 2.75 inch.

here's a link to ones I've gotten:

I got one from Adam and eve very happy with plus big discounts. I wish someone would have told me to get one after I had a radical Prostatectomy. Taking a long time to get it back it's true if you don't use it you lose it !
