I can easily feel tubing in my penis after implant. Anyone Else?

@jgmjoe017 totally understand there are trade offs and I will say that my dick is about twice the girth that it was previously. Major plus. And I no longer see the hourglassing and the painful erections are gone already, huge plus. I think over time I could get used to the oval shape, but I know for a fact I will not be able to get over tubing being felt so easily mentally. That’s my main concern right now.

@tomas1 yes I had peno-scrotal installation. The tubing is very close to the crus, the only problem is that it feels great on the right side but on the left at the crus I can clearly see the tubing protruding a bit while laying down and I can also feel it prominently at the crus and it continues for about an inch to the left. My reservoir is on the left side. If you feel around on the right you could MAYBE feel a tiny bit of tubing but a girl would never notice but the left side at the crus just feels like a mess of tubing. And when i press on it it just makes this awful squishy liquid sound. It’s really depressing me.

@defiant that’s exactly what I was thinking too brother. And i read countless journals and hours of material and most made it seem like you were getting your old dick back with the only difference being the pump in the scrotum. Not the case at all.

@oldbeek that is what is so concerning to me. I had the scrotal approach and most others with implants have as well and I’ve read many that say they feel nothing. And on the right side I feel almost nothing at all, if it were like that on both sides I would be over the moon happy and not bitching and depressed right now. But you’re right and thanks for the kind words man.

@thisworld I think so too. Why is it so unnoticeable on the right yet the left side is full of tubes. It feels awful and if i were a girl id be freaked out if i felt it. I actually had a big sack with the slight turkey neck so idk. But Dr. Kramer insists it’s all good and that I’m too hyperfocused on feeling the tubes. I don’t think I am at all, it just doesn't feel natural at all. And I know surgeons and doctors in general hate to admit mistakes or acknowledge they might have been wrong. I’m very scared it is going to be this way and I’ll just have to deal. Just goes from one problem to another.

One thing I will say man, is that it’s still super new to you.

You’ve essentially gone through a trauma down there and things will settle. I do believe that. I’ve also read a lot of young dudes feel a similar way in the beginning only to end up loving it weeks to months later.

It must be real hard to fathom and get used to right now but give yourself time. Time to heal, bro.

I have an AMS 700, yes I can feel the tubing, from the pump to the reservoir. It seems that it is common to all with the AMS.

It goes up the shaft from the pump, the performs a uturn, back down the shaft and along back into the depths.

It get's in the way of the use of rings. That's the only problem I have with it. The aesthetics don't bother me. Just one of those things we have to accept.

3-4 years back, Kramer was installing pumps to high as noted here on Franktalk. Had to redo them to lower the pump. Maybe he is hedging towards longer tubes and lower pumps. ?? Where is your pump in your sack?

With Titan, you will always feel cylinders and tubing. My first implant was Titan and tubing was tenting and bulging in my scrotum. Even without touching, tubing was obvious. When inflated, my penis looked flat as it was run by a tire.
Now, my second implant for last 13 months is AMS CX. My surgeon did great job in hiding it completely. Only pump is obvious because it is lager then titan pump.
I had girth 5.75" with both implants. Titan was very flat and thin. and my AMS CX is much rounder and assembled natural look and feel.
This is my experience with these 2 models.

I included a pic so everyone can see exactly what I’m talking about the and the location. That entire area is all tubing that is easily felt. One of the tubes is so prominent that it extends up past the base of my penis when lying down so when i put my hand around it the first thing I feel is a weird piece of plastic that clearly doesn’t belong there. A girl would absolutely feel that if she grabbed my dick.

@Oldbeek the pump is very low. He had mentioned several times how he wanted it nice and low and he even said today it’s in the perfect spot and exactly where he wanted it. Now I see why based on placing it too high with other patients.

@MK1965 that’s so disappointing to hear from my pov. So glad the AMS is working out great for you. I’m kicking myself now because I fought hard to make sure I got a Titan. He mostly does AMS but said because of my age the peyronies i was a perfect fit for a Titan. I did have traditional peyronies though, no bend only hourglassing so I think an AMS would have worked great for me. I went with a Titan because I heard the pumps on AMS are much bigger and the ability to have a massive girth increase with a Titan was so appealing. In hindsight I would take whatever implant did not leave me with exposing tubing that can be easily felt at the surface of my balls and dick. And you’re right the Titan is so goddamn flat, it feels square. I was so disappointed when I felt it.

I was under the impression that the tubing would be at the base of the shaft. I sent a picture to Dr Eid and he said it was easily fixed. I have a telemedicine visit with him on the 31st and will post his advice. I already figured out a 4 or five day stay in Brooklyn if I have to fly out from Milwaukee. The oval shape is weird but I noticed that 85-90% inflated and aroused makes me rounder. Still have some glans engorgement which is good but haven’t been able to come during sex, which sucks. Takes longer to come but still feels good to great. Just going to have to get used to it I guess.

I know you’re feeling super regretful right now and worried and a myriad of negative emotions but this is genuinely something we’ve seen time and time again, the WTF stage. Definitely not denying your tubing may be abnormal bro or trying to downplay your emotions and concerns but there may be a decent chance things will bed in as it were and you’ll soon learn to embrace and later dare I say, like it, maybe even love it.

A recent experience that comes to mind is that of a 36 yo user by the name of aslanglobal. He absolutely hated what he’d done post surgery and was adamant it was a mistake. He was almost beside himself with regret from what I could read anyway. but just a few short months he’s in love with it and has had the ‘best few months’ of his life.

I really hope this is the case for you. Your dick is truly beat up right now. I hope time is the healer you deserve!
