size with VED pre op vs erect size post op

I had my prostate removed about 20 years ago. function was fine for about 10 years and then started deteriorating. pills make me dizzy and after a year of trimix, peyronie disease has make it so I don't have any functioning any more. with nothing to lose, I am now scheduled for an implant mid February with a dr Joshua green in sarasota. two questions : does anybody have experience with dr green and was it good or bad? and 2, does anyone have experience with measuring the size of your penis while using a VED and comparing it to what their erect penis was post implant. was it about the same size? thanks for any comments.

My VED size was always greater than the implant size.
It is good for maintaining size before the implant.

I wasn't sure about the peyronie's until the doctor verified it upon initial exam. during the exam he told me he thinks there is significant scaring. but I did expect/assume it as my penis had started to curve to the right after a couple months of trimix injections.

if you have peyronies then you should be doing extensive traction and using the VED daily.
id say size is more about the technique which should be penoscrotal and using a good surgeon such as Eid or Hakky.

Yes.

I was lucky enough to be able to get a "natural" erection pre-implant when I started using a VED (to maintain size and elasticity of my penile tissues). Inside the VED, I was considerably longer and girthier than my best pill and stimulation-induced erection. My per-op erections (though unreliable and always short-lived), when I could get one, were equal to the erections of my youth.

The upshot of the foregoing is that the vacuum not only gets a blood-filled erection, but also expands other tissues, even those not normally engorged by sexual stimulation. Also, I figured that some of my penis was pulled forward into the vacuum chamber (a movement not achieved in sexual activities unless someone is acually pulling on your penis).

I could easily get 3/4 to 1 1/4 inch longer under vacuum than with an actual erection.

I also discovered that if I did that, I risked inducing edema (which was quite alarming until I was advised that mild edema is a temporary affliction, easily reduced by avoiding the VED for several days.).

Another question if the post op is smaller in length and girth than pre VED measurements how does the implant measurement compare to pre op oral meds or trimix measurements?

I see a lot about loosing length with implant. Is this related to a person not having any erections, natural or by meds or VED for a long period of time? The old use it or loose phrase. Or is there loss with all implants. I know it also depends on the doctor using the correct implant size.

I know Peyronies can also cause lose of length because I have it. The question above was ask about what we’re symptoms. Mine started with a small hard place about the size of a pea in my penis. Then stared seeing some bend with erections and then really painful erections with bend. Used Verapamil suave, traction and VED, pain left after a while, some curve still and had lost some length but with continued VED use gained it back.

IMO, VED size is not a good benchmark for comparison. Like others mentioned, my pumped length on the VED tube is typically .75” longer than my peak Trimix induced erection measured by the bone pressed method. My stretched flaccid & a good trimix boner are both just shy of 6” and this is the size I’m hoping to maintain when I finally get my implant. Expecting VED size from an implant is a stretch (no pun intended) that will likely result in disappointment based on everything I read and heard during my consultations.
