Testosterone injections

Postby djranman65 » Sat Jan 08, 2022 2:02 pm

I am a 56 year old male who likes to workout and as we know testosterone is the building block for ken to stay fit. If you have a implant can you still do testosterone injections?

Yes, you can take testosterone with a penile implant. One has nothing to do with the other. I'm on TRT via a compounded cream that I apply twice a day to my scrotum. I switched to the inner arm for about 2 weeks after surgery when my sack was purple and swollen, but other than that, no issue at all. When your hormones are optimized and your dick is working, life is good!

It doesn't matter. Cream gets testosterone into your bloodstream just like injections do. They're just different delivery systems. Testosterone is testosterone. And it is fine to take when you have an implant.

I might caution you testosterone guys.... there's a HUGE risk with prostate cancer.

That's what happened to me and 4 of my friends. My doc actually doubled my testosterone because I was still low, and within a year I had cancer.

Granted, not always, but a HIGH RISK. Decide of a quick roll in the sack and a littl more stamina in athletics is worth it. Not for me.

There's a lot of conflicting information on this subject.
I know I couldn't stand living with how I felt when I was taken off it for a while.
