Connection tubes to pump

Postby Howling8 » Tue Jan 04, 2022 6:34 pm

Where are the connectors from the implant to the pump supposed to sit? Mine come out about inch or a little more above the base of my shaft. When I or my wife run a hand up and down the inflated shaft I can really feel it and it aches afterwards. I contacted Dr Clavell on his message board (not my Dr) and he said this could easily be fixed. Anyone here know how? I'm waiting for a 2nd opinion via Telemedicine.

Thanks

I'm obviously not an expert, but I guess the doc made his incision to insert the cylinders too far up your shaft.
I'd "guess" the repair would entail cutting a slit downward toward the base and suturing up the slit.

Here's a picture. The connectors come out about at or a little below the incision.

Lol I didn't think it has much girth. I lost about 3/4 " of girth but that's at max which aches and is shaped like a flat head trouser snake lol. I reduced to 85 - 90% and when aroused it filled out rounder, and didn't hurt. Probably lose .5 to 1 " but it feels more like the OG Mr Happy. The connection tubes suck tho. Dr Eid says my surgeon does transverse incisions and that's one of the complications. He said it's easily fixed but didn't say how.

“Easily fixed”. I’d love to see the actual satisfaction rate on these implants. I guess if the alternative is to have no dick whatsoever, then I’m sure the satisfaction rate is high. It’s a shitty standard

From Dr Eid:

Thank you for the photo. I see the problem and it is easily fixed. This is an unfortunate type of incision with total disregard to the cosmetic aspect of the penile implant.

Sincerely,

J. François Eid, M.D.

Now I need to figure out how to approach this. My Dr is a VA and Froedert rock star surgeon. She is listed as the attending surgeon on my report but I never saw her afterwards and suspect the resident did it. Any suggestions?

It's the Milwaukee VA. I'm hoping the attending surgeon, Dr Amy Guise, can fix it. She's listed as the attending surgeon so I'm not sure if she actually performed the surgery. I see her on 1/28/22.

Probably pretty expensive to have Dr Eid fix it in New York. Even with Medicare.
