Burning Pain at 3 Weeks?

Postby Odecko » Sun Jan 02, 2022 5:27 pm

Has anyone experienced a burning pain in both the glans and shaft with a tingle in and around the base leading to the groin leading to the butthole? If so please explain what was going on! I am having this issue and do not know what to do. I understand that the Titan is coated with an antibiotic. That may be the issue, but what is the solution. Does the device need to be replaced? Should I just tolerate the pain until it goes away? I've also hear there are some meds that can counteract the burning. If you have experienced such, please help!

I won't be of much help. If it is the coating. Previous men with that complaint only saw it go away with time.
I will venture a very small suggestion that I do not know if it'll work. But its simple & cheap. If you are having a reaction to the coating. I wonder if an antihistamine might provide some relief. This is based upon the thought that it might be an allergic reaction. Please use caution & discretion if you choose this path.

Oh Yea. I had several months of burning pain, like my shaft was sunburned. I do know there is some drug that will help if you talk to your doc. Inflating made it worse. I found Aspercream helped, a small dab smeared along my shaft lasted most of the day.

Thanks Old Guy,

I've found your advice very credible. I read one of your old posts and went out and bought some...Roll on and cream... It's great after I shower and I also place a baby sock over it afterwards.

Your advise about Apercream should be a sticky. Didn't know that when I was healing. 4 solid weeks of stinging pain.

You are welcome, glad it helped.

I just happened to have a tube of Aspercream in the closet when I was healing. One day after my hot bath and inflating that burning feeling got me, so I tried a dab of it. In about 5 minutes I was feeling better. I went through 2 tubes of the stuff over 4 months until things settled down.
The kids sock was another odd find. My shaft was so tender when I had to get dressed tried covering my shaft one day. Think I borrowed 2 or 3 pair from grandson!

I cannot get in touch with my surgeon. I have tried several attempts and no one will call back. I was told this guys was the best at his craft. He was initially. Maybe still is. I can only talk about my experience...and I would say his communication is limited post implant.

The butt hole tingle/pain/discomfort was not expected though. I think some part of the device is pressed against but canal. My poop comes out in what appears to be square...like Playdough being pressed through a toy. :D

I have to laugh to keep from crying. I really hope everything work out. At this point I am cautiously optimistic!
