Greetings from Italy, I am six weeks after surgery and now I am a happy man. I have to thank this forum because it helped me to overcome many uncertainties. I activated the prosthesis on day 22 and made my wife happy on day 23. My doctor had prescribed 6 weeks of waiting ... but I couldn't resist. The only negative (small) note is the tendency of the prosthesis to self-inflate. I have read a lot about this on this forum which recommends a pump after deflating the implant. My doctor instead recommended that I have just deflate... so I was pretty confused. I found an in-depth instruction manual from Coloplast company (not the useless brochure I received) that removes any doubt. Besides the instructions to the surgeon at the end it says explicitly: “ When the desired flaccidity is achieved, squeeze the pump bulb a single time to prepare the device for inflation AND ALSO DECREASE THE RISK OF AUTOINFLATION “
This is the link so it is clear that this is not an urban legend or hearsay: https://docplayer.fr/52982983-Instructi ... lable.html
This, at least for me, does not completely eliminate the problem but now I know which is the best official recommended method. I hope it will be useful to others as well.

Really don’t understand, aside from being horny as hell, why so many people risk the function of their implant by ignoring their doctor’s orders.
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

Okay Defiant, that's your correct point of view but I don't feel like I've risked my prosthesis and my health. I understood a couple of things from reading this forum: we are all different in terms of healing speed and pain resistance and the best surgeons have aggressive rehabilitation policies. From the second day I didn't need any painkillers and on day 20 I woke up in the night with a nice erection due to autoinflation. The surprise and the pleasure were much greater than disconfort. At this point it was clear that I could voluntarily cycle the prosthesis so, with the full complicity of my wife, we did the testing which could be interrupted at any time in case of pain. It is evident that if I were a single with casual partners this could not be done. I also think I was helped by the infrapubic access which allows early handling of the scrotum. However it should be clear: I'm not saying do like me, I'm just reporting my personal experience.

Awesome Fabio!
It’s always nice to see a compatriot free of the mental toll of ED.
Enjoy your implant and fuck like there’s no tomorrow mate!

26yo from Italy. Psychogenic ed since dec 2019, got worse in Jan 2021. On Cialis 5mg every 24hrs, it works! But masturbation and sex bring me a lot of anxiety. On talk-therapy.
