Hi guys
This is my first post and am looking for some info regarding the Titan.
I was installed with an AMS LGX in late 2017. I had a number of difficulties with it but my main concern was and still is the shape. It's extremely “flat” rather than round or spherical. I lost a lot of girth, which was awful, but the flatness is something I could never get used to.
I’ve now seen a high volume implant surgeon who has told me he thinks having a revision with a Titan should address issues with the flat dick I have (i.e. by increasing the girth and roundness) plus it may resolve some other issues I have with tubing sticking too far out.
The only thing I’m confused about is the lengthening issue between an AMS700 and the Titan. My LGX in its flaccid state is very short (literally about 3 inches) but lengthens about another 2 inches when inflating to max. On the other hand, I understand the Titan doesn’t change in length when inflated. So does that mean with a Titan you permanently have a full-length dick sitting in your underwear? Isn’t that uncomfortable? For example, if a guy was well endowed (not me!), would he possibly be sitting with a full 8 inches in his pants permanently when flaccid and unable to deflate length at all when not “using” it? Does a Titan ever get flaccid and is it comfortable in underwear when not in use?
Also, I’m circumcised and always felt that the only way to stop the glans chaffing on underwear was to position my flaccid dick sideways so some of the remaining foreskin was used as a cushion from the underwear. Would you guys imagine this to be a problem if my impending Titan is always at its full length and therefore the forsekin is down and full glans are exposed?
I’m sorry if I’m not explaining this well but would love to get your insights.

No the Titan does not stay at full length. Yes it's not like a flaccid dick in pre-ED times either.
Mine stays about 3 1/2 to 4" flaccid and does show quite the bulge in underwear. Inflated it's just over 5" and mostly round. I lost length but gained some girth.

I don't see how a Titan can miraculously transform a flattish penis to a round one.
Granted, it will probably get wider though.
I worry about the chafing issue since it may get worse.
The tubing issue might go away if you get the scrotal incision
Good luck with your revision.

Thanks Old guy for your response.
Could I ask you - when you say you lost length, was that because of a long period of ED or you simply went into surgery with a certain length and then come out with less? If its the latter, why is this so?

The surgeon's view was that the flattish shape is because the AMS tubes are not widening and were probably a little too narrow.

See if you can pick up a pair of David Archy separate pouch underwear. They are made from bamboo and feel like silk. I really like them.
Injections failed. Implanted 3-21-18 AMS 700 LGX 21 + 1 RTE 100 cc reservoir 6.5" L 5" G Dr. Kramer.

I think you'll find that all implants are flatter looking than most dicks. Two round cylinders next to each other form an 8 laying on its side. Just the way it is. Small trade off to get all the benefits of the implant.
As for girth. If you was on injections prior to your implant then there is your issue. The Injection medicines have a tendency to cause your girth to increase. Once you get an implant that reaction goes away. So your lost girth could be related from stopping injections, not from the implant.
I got a circusion in 2013. I interviewed doctors until I found one that would leave enough skin to cover my head. I had read of the chaffing issue. Just my guess. If you have chaffing now. It won't get better unless the skin on you penis head gets accustomed to the constant friction. I was told that in essence the head needs to get callused.
Yes, your flaccid is going to be longer.
My opinion. The tubing might be the only issue that could see any improvement.

I take your point Gt1956 - but isn't it the case that if the cylinders expand wider with a Titan that they would make the whole penis more round - ie because they are expanding on all sides? And wouldn't that mean the cylinders would push against the centre of the penis (is it called Tunica?) and therefore make it round? My real problem is the huge loss of girth and being very flat. I didn't really have injections but could always get erect without an implant with excessive friction. The problem was as soon as this heavy friction stoped the venous leak took over and the whole dick would deflate instantly.
I accept the sideways "8" example you point out, but its really flat and thin and my wife had noticed the shape didn't feel normal. I accept the response of one's partner is a whole different issue, however, the flatness was something I was not expecting to be so bad. I guess the question is also how many other people have "flatness" issues with their implant and now significant this flatness is?

My lost length was probably due to several reasons. From 13-14 years of fighting ED, trying pills and injections which kept failing it was like going through ED again and again. Probably lost some of my 6" during that time. Going into the surgery I knew nothing about it other than it would make my dick work again. Finally I was never informed about cycling. I didn't find FT until 5 months after my implant. Started cycling then but after 2 months my gain was 1/8" so I gave up. My length is just over 5" now, but it works every time!
I really wish I knew what I know now before I took that first Viagra. Too many side effects from pills and injections.

Re: Making the change from an AMS LGX700 to a Titan
I get it not so Old Guy,
It's a shame that some guys didn't know about the benefits of busing the VED after ED set in.
I believe that was key to me not losing length.
More about the flatness issue, my penis doesn't appear flat, but I'd attribute that to possibly having more tissue on the bottom of it. I'd be interested to hear a follow up from OP about how his ends up.
