A few questions about living this post-op

Postby Adventure_Zone » Wed Dec 01, 2021 12:57 pm

Hi all,

I have major venous leakage. I've tried Viagra, Cialis, MUSE, Trimix injections and a few other things. No luck. So, I'm scheduled for implant surgery (AMS 700) in two weeks. Here are my questions:

How long before I can have PIV sex again?
How long before I should cum post surgery?
What about being pegged while I'm healing?
I enjoy wearing ball stretchers... will I be able to after surgery without damaging the mechanism?
I enjoy wearing a cock ring... again, will I be able to after surgery without damaging the implant?
I'm a grow-er, not a show-er and enjoy going to naturist functions... will I be able to partially inflate it to appear like a show-er but not be fully erect?
I know some of these are touchy questions, but I figured I'd try asking people who have had this dome, prior to asking my doctor. I plan on asking my doctor as well, but thought it's valuable to get the perspective from people that have this implant and ones that are similar.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Welcome to FrankTalk, Adventure_Zone.

Please tell us more of your history; we will be able to address your questions if we know more about you and your experiences. Creating a signature is helpful.

When I first joined FrankTalk, I took a couple weekends to read through two and a half years of posts/threads with titles that interested me and appeared informative. I recommend this to you. By reading through old posts, you will get answers to your questions from many members no longer here. If you wait for current members to respond they will trickle in over time. Old posts will yield answers much quicker and some answers that you may never get (because some members are no longer active). I also scoured the internet for articles from (legitimate, peer-reviewed) medical journals for information.

I recommend documenting your size (length and girth) by careful measurement and photographs. Make sure your measurement protocol is repeatable. The most widely used measurement is to press a measuring tool against your pubic bone just above your penis, compressing the pubic fat pad as much as possible and measuring (straight) to the tip of your penis (not following the curve to the tip, but just straight out like a shoe store measures your foot to the tip of your toe.) Girth is measurement of circumference at the midpoint of your penis. Some choose to find the girthiest part, instead. Usually the two points are the same or very close.

I recommend using a Vacuum Erection Device/Aid to keep penile tissues flushed with blood and stretched periodically to maintain tissue health and elasticity, so as not to lose size.

Time to having sex again?
Time before attempting orgasm/cumming.

Your surgeon is best qualified to tell you but 4 to 12 weeks is the range I have read most often.

Pegging
Less dangerous to your implant, but inducing sexual arousal by any means might be inadvisable for at least a few weeks.

Ball Stretcher and Cock Rings
I know of no one who has damaged their implant with these devices, but a ring that pulls down on the (scrotum-installed) pump might put a strain on the tubing connectors. Best to ask your surgeon. He might allow for a little bit of extra length of tubing.

I was a grower. (2.5 inches to 6 inches) Now, with an LGX I am 4.5 inches (approximate) to 6 inches. Partially inflating to appear like a shower is not necessary, but since you can pump up to whatever inflation degree you desire, you will have the ability to adjust your look at will. Coloplast devices are by their nature stiffer when deflated than AMS devices.

How long before I can have PIV sex again?
Your surgeon will give you very specific guidelines. Average time seems to be 4 to 6 weeks.

How long before I should cum post surgery?
See above. BUT, some gentle masturbation (not changing the inflation level your Dr. send you home with) might be OK. If it doesn't hurt, which it will for a few days. This just my opinion, ask your Dr.

What about being pegged while I'm healing?
If you feel up to it, and it doesn't hurt, I wouldn't think it should be a problem.

I enjoy wearing ball stretchers... will I be able to after surgery without damaging the mechanism?
I wore ball stretchers a lot over the years, but I won't do it with my implant. Didn't ask Dr. about this.

I enjoy wearing a cock ring... again, will I be able to after surgery without damaging the implant?
My Dr. approved of wearing my cock rings to help keep my glans engorged, and it does help, Told me to put it on, then inflate, deflate to make sure it doesn't interfere with either. He prefers I use something I can get out of with a hard on. I did find I need a slightly larger ring than I used to.

I'm a grow-er, not a show-er and enjoy going to naturist functions... will I be able to partially inflate it to appear like a show-er but not be fully erect?
Absolutely, and you will probably have a slightly larger soft dick than you do now.
