Not sure if I’m deflated
I don’t know if I’m deflated or not bc my new flaccid is so close to my old hardon-11 days post op. I’m pushing the deflate buttons and nothing happens now, but maybe I’m deflated. Anyway I stopped cycling bc what will happen if I inflate and then can’t deflate? It’s frustrating bc I’m very motivated to push on

If you squeeze your dick and it's rock hard you are still erect. If you squeeze it and it's soft then you're deflated. Most implanted men are close to their erect size, especially right after the surgery. If you were a grower before you 'll be a shower now.

OMG does this sound painfully familiar.
My urologist/surgeon are in Austin Tx. I’m in a rural area 68 miles away. No big deal for follow up visits. But pretty big deal when you imagine pumping yourself up and then not being able to deflate.
At three days in they said to start cycling. At first it was very very overcautious. 5 or 6 little squeezes. Then deflate.
Yeah, the more you do it, the more it becomes familiar and before long it is second nature.
We used to joke at Army jump (parachutist) school about the first time out the door being fear of the unknown and the second time being fear of the known.
Couple of pieces of advice from the old cowboy: that implant is part of you now. Treat it with respect but don’t be afraid of it. Lots of other guys have been right where you are with the same worries and reservations. Without going crazy and being dumb, you can inflate those cylinders and you can deflate them, too.
If you ever freeze up and think you haven’t deflated….wait. Calm down. Give things about 10-15 minutes. Then feel around to the deflate button. Press it, squeeze that dick gently but surely, and see if you can feel some fluid headed back to the reservoir.
It is scary, or at least borderline worrisome, right at first. But practice and getting some reps in will fix everything. I promise.
The cylinders that have replaced your corporeal bodies are stiffer than your tissues used to be. They will get softer, more flexible over time but you’re likely to always be a little stiffer when soft than you started out. That’s just the way it is.
Age 68. Physically fit educated red neck in Texas. Very married. 23 cm (18+5) of LGX installed by Dr. Bryan Kansas 12/31/2019. I fought the ED and my wife & I won. I’m either full of shit or sound advice. You decide which.

I had my stitches taken out today. Turns out I was not deflated. The doctor wants me to take a week off from cycling.

I want to encourage you to do what your doctor says.
I followed my doctor's orders to a T. That meant not messing around with my implant for two months after the surgery.
But I didn't have any problems, and now, 13 months out, I'm very happy with the results. As anxious as I was to use my implant after 19+ years of worsening ED, I was glad to wait if it meant I was less likely to have problems later.
