When my dick worked at least I knew I had a decent size and sex actually felt good. Now, I don’t even want sex and even make excuses not to even though I would like to meet someone. I don’t know what I expected from getting a penile implant but it surely was more than this.
Would my girth have been better with a Titan? Or would it still be narrow near the glans? I’m not sure why it’s like that, I wasn’t like it before.

My girth is 5 inches at the base and gets very narrow near the glans, like maybe 4 inches. Also, glans does not really increase that much at all it just looks strange.
I am really quite depressed with the outcome when I think about it. Everyone talks about regaining their old size but I am nowhere close to that. When I think about meeting girls, I feel like I’m just going to be a disappointment and I feel like I will be on my own forever.
I’m not sure if the implant is undersized or not but the cylinder tips have never went into the glans and are just below. I’m not sure if that would help engorge the glans or not? I don’t know.
Why is my girth so narrow near the glans as well? It doesn’t make sense. My dick was never like that, I had just under 7 inches and 5+ inch girth over my entire dick.
Methods: Twenty patients underwent implantation of a 3-piece inflatable penile prosthesis, utilizing LGX cylinders. Penile length, as measured from pubic bone to tip of the glans penis with the prosthesis maximally inflated, was assessed at 2 weeks post-surgery as a baseline, and then at 6, 12, and 18 months post-surgery. Patients were instructed to begin daily inflation of the prosthesis for 1 hr starting at 2 wks postsurgery and continuing until 3 mths after surgery. At that point, the regimen was modified to 15 minutes per day a minimum of 4 days per week.
Results: Median follow-up was 11 mths (6–18 mths); all length changes are reported as median values (range). At 6 mths post-IPP, length gain from baseline was 9 mm (5–20 mm). At 12 and 18 mths respectively, increases of 20 mm (5–35 mm), and 30 mm (10–45 mm) were noted. Interval changes between 6 and 12 mths were 11.5 mm (0–25 mm) and a further 9 mm (0–25 mm) from 12–18 mths. There were no instances of length loss noted from baseline values in this series.
Conclusion: A dedicated post-operative inflation protocol promotes increased measured erectile length in men implanted with controlled length expansion (LGX) cylinders.
Our data confirm results obtained by Mulhall et al.16 who reported IPP to be a highly satisfying ED treatment with the highest satisfaction seen during the first year following implantation, particularly during the second part of the first year. We confirm that significant improvement was seen from 6 to 12 months postsurgery, as shown in the overall IIEF satisfaction domain score. We found an interesting difference in the desired domain of IIEF at 6 and 12 months. In our opinion, these data reflect the learning curve, not only in prosthesis activation, but also in how to have sex with the prosthesis. In addition, this result is not related only to the satisfaction regarding the length, as it was also present in the 22% of patients who expressed dissatisfaction with the final length.
