There are a lot of men injecting for years, even decades, without issues. If you know you're prone to Peyronie, then I think it's safe to avoid injections.
defiant wrote:Plus, dating while injecting easier than an implant? Disagree. Implant takes a few seconds to pump up and you’re good to go, no faffing around, sticking a needle inside you with a drug that has to be kept in the fridge etc etc etc. Way more spontaneity with an implant.

As I talked in my last reply, IMO dating is easier with injections. This is different if you have a fixed and trustworthy partner.
The majority of opinions you see in this forum are from married men that have nothing to hide from their partners. If you are one of those men, definitely an implant is easier: 45 sec pumping and you're ok.

But if you're single and trying to date some random women and want to hide the implant, I'm sorry but you can't talk about how easy is to pump without your partner noticing because this is something you'll experience solely after having the surgery.

Trust me, it's easy. Once you get comfortable with the pump, the time it takes to walk from the living room to the bedroom is all you need to inflate to a half-staff boner, which is perfect for the start of foreplay. It's equally simple to reach down every minute or so and give yourself another squeeze or two while you're in bed fooling around. If you want to be 100% sure she doesn't notice, do it while "dining at the Y" — as long as you're working that tongue right, she isn't going to notice or even care what you're doing with your hand.

The big caveat is that "surprise sex" — road head, for instance, or a girl undressing and popping in while you're showering — is difficult to pull off if you have an implant your partner doesn't know about. But it's still doable if you're smooth. I like to toss salad in shower, for instance, so I'd just have her turn around and then kneel behind her and pump while I worked her ass with my tongue. With injections, those situations are downright impossible.

This was some great insight man, thank you!

May I ask if you’ve been in a long term relationship yet since having the implant? How did you reveal the news and how was it received by the woman?

Or, if you’ve not yet, are you feeling confident about revealing this to a potential life partner?
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

I will jump in here with an answer to your question, though you did not ask it of me.

I reiterate what I put in the last paragraph of my first post in this thread (post #2, page 1).

In the dating site ad I posted, I stated plainly that I was functionally impotent and virtually certain to get an implant. I got a lot of supportive messages and absolutely no derision. I did get a couple of women suggesting that advertising for a sexual partner might inadvisable from a moral standpoint, but even they did not criticize the concept of an implant.

I doubt the women in your target audience would respond much differently.

So, when the woman indicates she might be interested in intimacy, just tell her, gently, "There is something you should know if we should decide to have sex." (or something like that).

One more thing: Once a woman has let you into her bed, there are very few things that will make her kick you out or cause her to jump out of your bed.

In the shower would not be a problem for me. I always pump up to 3/4 , lather up with soap and wash my shaft and scrotum real good.

If a girl who doesn't know you have an implant surprises you in the shower and sees you're already 3/4 hard, she's going to think you were in there spanking off. Which, again, if you're smooth, shouldn't be a problem. "Hey, perfect timing. You can help me finish this thing off."

I will note again; with most women, confidence rules.

If your woman ambushes you when you are not inflated, just put it in her hand and tell her, that when she wants to play with a "squishy toy" here it is.

Then with your penis in her hand (or her mouth), tell her, "Watch this trick." and pump itup.

At first, she will be curious as to what you want to show her. Then curious about what you are doing. By the time she might be getting put off, she will be noticing growth and stiffness and be intrigued, fascinated, amazed and probably more turned on than she was when she surprised you.

At that point, you are surprising her.

Then, when you are good and stiff, tell her that you can stay erect for as long as she can stay wet.

I repeat. Women respond to confidence. Own it.

I was with my partner for years when I got implanted but we split 2 years ago… since then I have been with ~10 women. Some of them I explained right before intercourse that I had ED for 20 years but had surgery to correct. Most had never heard or seen it and all were happy to continue. Some I decided to not tell for various reasons until after or not at all.

I’ve never had a negative response and always had the opportunity for more dates.

Hi David,

Perhaps it’s a bit bold to ask but was one of the reasons for your breakup due to the ED / implant?

And are you looking to settle down one day soon?

All the best to you, man!
