Antibiotics and Pain Medication

Do you have to finish all the antibiotics given. What about Pain Medications, Did you take the entire dose or stopped. When did you stop.

Hey Alex,

Most doctors will tell you you should take the full course of antibiotics, but you can take the pain pills only "as needed".

If you need to take a laxative, Dulcolax works for me. And many people think that Advil works as good or better than the narcotic pain killers.

Follow your doctor's instructions to the letter on the antibiotics ... you DONT want to get an infection.
