Another Titan pumping

4 weeks post op, have been cycling steadily the past week. I noticed that pump is really resistant to pressure once I’m at about 4:00. I have to get to get to 3:00, pointing straight out. Not from pain, just because I can’t manage to get the thing pressed down enough times. Does this get easier? I’m a 36 year old guy who lifts weights all the time lol, this shouldn’t be this hard. Yet- here I am. I get more comfortable w it every time, and I clearly see size coming back gradually. I just haven’t been able to pump up enough to have a boner worthy of sex yet. Doc says my recovery will just take a bit more time and to keep following the protocol. I feel pretty positive overall, I just wondered if I’m gonna have to get a set of pliers or really strengthen my fingers here. I assume the whole thing does get easier with practice. I’m using two hands. Thoughts?

I had the same complain to my doctor after about 2 weeks of cycling: pointing at 4.00pm. He said just continue cycling.
I found out that cycling while taking a warm shower was easier. I could more pressure on the pump. Another technique I came to know from FT member Newbie is putting additional squeezes during the 30 or 60 minutes cycling. I used to add more every 5 to 10 minutes. By 6 weeks of cycling, you will be where it should be. However, nobody could predict the final angle that he will end up with. It is based on your anatomy.

Considering I really only started cycling a few days ago, I'm guessing in a month I'll be more comfortable and ready for actual sex. I've also noticed my pump is connected to the side of my ball sac, which I understand over time can become separated. The connection to the ball sac makes it harder to pump hard as it squeezes the hell out of my skin. Growing pains, I suppose. Thanks for your advice.

I’ve got AMS (as we’ve discussed) but some things are the same.

I don’t have the adherence of pump to inner wall of nutsack but it’s close enough to feel it get squeezed repeatedly. You sort of get used to that and it’s no big deal.

I’d advise against pliers. What I’ve done is grip pump between thumb and forefinger of left hand, and use right hand to squeeze them together in sort of a rhythm. Getting to 2 o’clock, maybe even 1:30 is very do-able that way.

Hey,
I was kidding about the pliers. Today I managed to keep it at 4:00 for 15 minutes and then the pain was just a bit much. I'll aim for 3:45 tonight. It's tough but workable. My doc told me straight up I'll never point up. But perhaps to 2:00 in time. I just still have a ball and the sac skin lodged close to the pump for now. I'm thrilled with progress the last week though. Quite a turning point mid-week 3 to mid-week 4. I am clearly no where near ready for action yet, but I actually see a possibility on the horizon. Yes,it does get easier as you stretch the cylinders out from cycling!

I also use 2 hands to inflate. It is difficult for me to do it with one hand, especially when the pump gets hard. It is painful when finger slips

When my doctor showed me how to inflate and deflate at 8 weeks, I found it difficult to pump at first because the pump was so hard. And I have a strong grip.

The pump has gotten softer, so pumping is easier. At my 6-month follow-up appointment, my doctor suggested squeezing the pump once after I deflate. That makes starting to inflate fully the next time easier.

Doc had me squeeze the hell out of the implant towards my body once it’s deflated. Is there any damage done if I leave a tiny bit of air in there by not squeezing so rigorously? I know when I hit the down button now as pain leaves immediately. My doc said this is the main downside to current tech- the pesky pump that takes getting used to. A new model in development w activation at base of dick apparently, but years until it’s ready. I’m grateful regardless- I just have to keep practicing
