I was finally implanted on the 12/07/21 at Glasgow Royal infirmary. I was implanted with an lgx 700.
The surgeon was a Mr Mike Fraser, a highly experienced, high volume implanter. Our surgeons are not as well known here, as this site is mainly American, but the man is a good as they get. 10/10, can't rate highly enough, words don't do justice, heart of gold.

The experience has left me in awe of the NHS, it may have its issues but there are so many wonderful people involved throughout the process, from anesthetists to nurses

I returned home yesterday evening after staying in over night. The first day recovery wasn't fun, catheter removal was an experience, I knew what to expect though.

I have no pain, mild tenderness over reservoir, the pump is fighting for space, penis itself experiences occasional discomfort. No bruising. Urination and bowel movements are back to normal. Honestly taken aback by how quickly things have sorted themselves out. That and the job was done well. I'm glad I waited for the surgeon I wanted.

I'm no longer on pain killers. About 50%inflated, not sure though.
Very surreal this whole process. Glad I went through with it.

Congratulations, happiness is in our hands and you have made a brave decision. You are an example for the young guys suffering from ED.
Please post in details your recovering and your experiences, when you start using it. It will help the guys on their 20s and 30s to learn from your experience.
During the next 8 weeks, your mind will play tricks on you. Don't allow the anxiety and negative thoughts take over, it will hurt you instead than help you.
The more difficult part during the recovering process is having patience, but it is not easy.
Remember, man's penis shape, length & girth, circumcised or uncumcised vary from one man to another, even, when we are implanted the same prosthesis, these factor will alter the final outcome.
