The surgeon was a Mr Mike Fraser, a highly experienced, high volume implanter. Our surgeons are not as well known here, as this site is mainly American, but the man is a good as they get. 10/10, can't rate highly enough, words don't do justice, heart of gold.

The experience has left me in awe of the NHS, it may have its issues but there are so many wonderful people involved throughout the process, from anesthetists to nurses

I returned home yesterday evening after staying in over night. The first day recovery wasn't fun, catheter removal was an experience, I knew what to expect though.

I have no pain, mild tenderness over reservoir, the pump is fighting for space, penis itself experiences occasional discomfort. No bruising. Urination and bowel movements are back to normal. Honestly taken aback by how quickly things have sorted themselves out.

I'm no longer on pain killers. About 50%inflated, not sure though.
Very surreal this whole process. Glad I went through with it.

Thanks to everyone here for guidance and advice.

Hi LeRoastBeef;
Congratulations, happiness is in our hands and you have made a brave decision. You are an example for the young guys suffering from ED.
Please post in details your recovering and your experiences, when you start using it. It will help the guys on their 20s and 30s to learn from your experience.
During the next 8 weeks, your mind will play tricks on you. Don't allow the anxiety and negative thoughts take over, it will hurt you instead than help you.
The more difficult part during the recovering process is having patience, but it is not easy.
Remember, man's penis shape, length & girth, circumcised or uncumcised vary from one man to another, even, when we are implanted the same prosthesis, these factor will alter the final outcome.
I wish you a smooth and safe recovering time.
Thank you for posting.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your support, it means a lot, helps keep us all going.

Tenderness much improved today. No bleeding, some slight bruising around the 'snake eyes' on the glans, I expected this to happen. It's nothing.

The only issue is the rectangular release valve housing of the ams. What possessed them to make the block rectangular. That means it will have sharp 90degree corners. Which nip.
Wtf? Does it get better?

Am I missing something here? An oval, sphere, even hexagon would have made sense. Any kind of obtuse corner.

I am sleeping with a pillow between my legs to give things space.
Everything is going great otherwise.

Im with you LeRoast, My nature is to fix stuff, I didn’t like the shape or the release button. Lol. At two weeks I was drawing a better mouse trap not knowing anything about the Titan, I discovered My drawing was the same as the Titan w squeeze buttons on the sides. You are doing great and everything sounds normal fou you. Hang in there - be patient, updated your signature Cb

Thanks cbinspok, that makes me feel a bit more sane. Your wee design matching up with the coloplast just goes to show. Must be a method to the madness. Maybe it's just more cost effective for them.

Today I did nothing, just lounged around house. Everything had improved once again. It's amazing to think I have just had such invasive surgery. I must remember to tell the Dr how great everything looks so soon. I don't want to jinx anything, but I didn't expect to have such a quick recovery. Things are so gory the day after too. I feel very lucky.

The only issue again is the release valve casing. Still quite sharp, digs into things at various angles. This must get better in time or everyone would be whining!
I feel I am sleeping okay, although my energy is still low. If I lay down for any length of time I will fall asleep, which is not like me, especially given my age . That's okay, what can you expect after everything. It doesn't bother me.
I also have edema in the foreskin, that still resolve to. Similar to after pumping, just now severe.
Over the last few days there have been some unpleasant and challenging times, I have no doubt I have more to come, I have never doubted my decision to get implanted though. I'm glad one step is over.

I will see the Dr in 3 weeks time to begin cycling. Just have to rest and recover till then.
All the best to you all.

Sleep as much as you need. It takes a lot of energy to heal.

Day 6
Things are healing. Had quite severe eodema, swelling of the foreskin, but it had now resolved.

I have just realised from the Dr's now that the implant is fully my deflated. If this is my flaccid size then I'm quite happy. It seems quite normal, if longer than the usual. The implant is of course still stiff and is difficult to hide, I'm sure this will ease with time as it has with everyone else. The larger flaccid, along with the pump, means there is less space than there was. Things are a bit cramped.
That's easy solved with experimentation.

I still have a lot of pain when standing and walking. I don't have any decent pain killers, ill have to wait for the GP's to open tomorrow. I should have been provided with some upon leaving hospital, this didn't happen, didn't realise until was home that they were not there.

Until I have better pain killers I'm struggling to be up and about, problem is, I think the only way the pain will go is to be up and about.

My scrotum and testicle seem to be unwelcoming bastards so far.
Sleep is poor to okay.

Wish I had realised the lack of pain killers. Paracetamol is better than nothing, but it is not sufficient.
