Seen my new uro today. Im going to use him for my implant. He's very knowledgeable and explained everything to me until i understood. Fairly high volume, before pandemic he was doing about 200 surgeries a yr. He explained the model implant which he had me try it, pretty cool! Asked about background and he studied and worked with the dr. That created the cx model ( which is what he is installing) implant ! He told me the name, but as usual i forgot, that dr. Unfortunately was killed in a plane crash not long ago. He told and showed me how he measures for the implant. He will put in a CX model no touch thats coated with antibiotics. Looked where my recent hernia scars ( had double Hernia, 3 holes robotic) and said he will go on my left side up higher by pelvic bone so its more protected!? I will be not inflated for 6 wks, thats what he is comfortable with, which he will show me to inflate then. Thought that was a little odd! I wont have the girth of a lgx, but he said that i will be longer and more stiffer inflated cause i have a long penis ( 7.25 erect) and it will hold better. Said we should know in a couple weeks know what rep says and insurance, i have priority health medicare advantage, hoping that goes well. Lee

Ya, i think so as well. He said I'd keep my length but not so much girth. Which i hope will be fine, cause i cant penetrate wife with the larger girth. Uro said, lgx will give girth and not as stiff as a CX. The CX is stiffer when erect and wont hang with the length i got and will be more at 2 oclock position, than 3 or 4 o clock. Does that sound rt? Said theres some give when thrusting in and out, where cx doesn't give! Huh!

Why? This is a free country and we can get several opinions and go with whomever we want to.

Why didn't you stick with injections, they're amazing.
Is your doc doing infrapubic, if so run away.
The fact that they want to use an AMS for your length is a big red flag, you'll certainly be loosing girth and possibly be undersized or with a bunch of shitty RTEs.

I think a Titan XL is a much better choice, it also has a much better satisfaction rate. You will not lose girth.

I recommend you go see a reputable doctor like Eid or Hakky.

I went in to surgery thinking LGX. My doc explained that the measurements they took (internal dick measurements) led him to use the CX for 24 cm + 2 cm RTEs. I'm happy.

You should never have more than 1cm of RTEs. So an AMS 24+2cm RTE should actually have been a Titan 26cm.

Not to be argumentative, but do you have a source for that statistic?

Coloplast has advantages. AMS devices have advantages. The worth of those disparate advantages for any given person (the implanted man or his partner) will have a lot to do with satisfaction.

I agree about the length thing. For the longer penis the greater moment of inertia (engineering term of art) of the Titan gives a pretty good argument for the Titan, and a 26 cm implant qualifies as longer than most implants.
