Small testies/implant

Postby schmeb37 » Wed Jul 07, 2021 6:31 am

Difficult to say this, but I have small testicles that will sometimes suck up almost all the way inside me. I'm getting ready to schedule my implant surgery. Does anyone know how this will affect my ability to get the procedure, as the pump will be "inserted" into my sack. Looking to hear from someone who has the same issue and got the procedure. I'll be seeing my doctor pretty soon, but wanted to see if I was wasting my time in advance. Thanks in advance.

I have been on testosterone replacement for a while and my testicles have shrunk. It happens because the body sends message to then that the testes and says “ no need to make testosterone” I’m getting it elsewhere. This small testes. Even with small ones I can’t imagine any problem with pump inside your scrotum. I’m am two weeks post op and my scrotum is still swollen but WAY back to normal. I can now feel the pump. You’ll be fine.

I have been on testosterone replacement therapy for years and my testicles also have shrunk. I am now almost 5 months post implant and my scrotum has adapted to the new resident (the pump) without any problems. I, frankly, have been amazed, but it really does all work out.

I am only 11 day post-op, but echo the same sentiments as those above me. It was a concern I had, but so far has not been an issue at all.

Schmeb,
I had the same concern over 2years ago. I ask my surgeon prior to my decision to have the implant & he said you’ll be fine. He was right. I’ve never found it to be a problem. I only wish I had gotten the implant 10 years earlier. Good luck & keep us posted, Bailey

I have been on testosterone for 20 years and my testicles vanished, like can't tell they are testicles at all. I got prosthetic ones put in to make it look like I have real testicles, pump hides nicely between them. Not saying you should go to that extreme, but having no testicles just felt emasculating to me and I changed that.
