Postby Dtaylor » Mon Jun 14, 2021 3:49 pm

My friends

I have a question for you guys. Wich way is the right way to install the AMS 700 CX?

The one showed on the Figure 1.1. (the exit of the cylinder is facing down)

The one showed on the Figure 1.2 (the exit of the cylinder is facing up).

Welcome to the forum, Dtaylor.

I invite you to tell us a bit about yourself by creating a "signature" with will attach itself to all your posts. (Signature automatically updates on all past posts each time you change it.)

I expect that one installation pictured is penoscrotal installation (the surgeon uses an incision in the scrotum for access to your insides) and the other is infrapubic (the surgeon uses an incision just above the penis for access to your insides). (Or is it suprapubic - I have seen it named both ways.)

Each approach has its advantages and disadvantages.

In my opinion,
Pic 1.1 is for penoscrotal installation and pic 1.2 is for suprapubic approach.
