I was under the impression that the Coloplast guarantee was just to cover the cost of the device itself (around $9k) not the surgeon, anesthesia, hospital fees etc
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

You are correct. The hospital just omitted that fact in their billing. Yes, your on the hook for everything else. But that is till 10k that they are billing for when they did incur the charge. Obviously, they have severe billing issues. But charging the same doe install and a 2nd charge for removal is bs. Last year, 1st implant, they billed 87k, yes 87k. The insurance said they where not paying, but they could charge me no more then 43k. They wrote off the hospital charges, and I paid the Dr 3k. Just got done paying him, when my implant breaks. Now is billing me 3k again. But if I have to do this for a 3rd time, I will use another Dr. Never expected to use my 401k for penis repairs. There is no penalty past 59.5 years old. Medicare does pay for implants. But if you stay working past 65, or 67, you still on your employers coverage. Oh, Medicare rate for implant is like 17k.

I did get length back. This implant was actually larger because of the space that was made from implant 1. However, pump cracked after a year. I had a coloplast narrow 18cm. Now have a 20 cm. 10 up and down both sides. But fluid around pump was not expected. 2nd implant was like 75% less pain as well.
Hoping this resolves in the next few weeks. Will still cycle just to not get jammed up by the biofilm. Sex is better when less inflated as well. But the thought of doing this a 3rd time is really a drag. Insurance denied claim again, hospital codes wrong. Dr Billed 3k. Hospital billed 32k for the new implant and 23k for the removal. I told them, the implant was at no charge as per coloplast guarantee. They could take the 56k charge and write it off again. Which they did the first time. Since they won’t correct their billing. I did pay the Dr. I have 4 appeals, so going all the way. But the thought of another charge and fight is getting to be an issue.

What implant do you have?
Implanted by Dr. Hakky on August 6th, 2018 Coloplast 22 cm. Genesis pump failure 8/17/19. Revision 9/10/2019. Genesis pump failed 2/27/2020 while having sex. Second revision scheduled 4/7/2020 with new Titan One Touch pump instead of Genesis

Oldbeek,

I'm just now eligible for Medicare. Which supplement should I be looking at for an implant?

Thanks!
I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.
