Pump is in a fluid bubble. Revision #3?

Had an ultrasound today. My pump is swimming in a fluid bubble. I complained to the Dr, thinking it was a hematoma. Well it is a complex situation that the radiologist feels is related to post op process. The Dr thought I was nuts. Said nothing was wrong.



No skin thickening and increased vascularity in region of penile prostheses. The pump is surrounded by fluid containing echoes. This may represent a postoperative fluid collection this measures 2.7 x 3.5 x 2.8 cm Recommend correlation clinically. Recommend follow-up imaging to ensure resolution

IMPRESSION:



1. Complex fluid collection in region of penile pump may be postoperative in origin recommend correlation clinically.
2. Bilateral epididymal head cysts.
3. Left varicocele


So now he said don’t cycle for 3 weeks and We will re evaluate.

I can cycle if I get the pump laying down. After cycling the pump area swells. Makes sense. But if I don’t cycle for 3 weeks am I going to be fighting the capsule that will form if I don’t ? Post op 8 weeks. Finally, who thinks I am heading for revision #3 in 16 months. Has anyone just had pump replaced?

I am glad you are having infrapubic approach. Believe me, It makes a huge different, during the healing process In two weeks post-op you will be cycling and after you third week you will be having sex like a Rabbit. LOL....

Scrotal as was my 1st implant. The pump cracked after 11 months.
