Those with infections, did you lose size?

For those of you that got infected and had a malleable put in during the meantime, did you lose any size from your pre op measurement?

My only fear right now is getting an infection, but if you can get one and not lose size then it isnt really a concern for me.

It depends on the doctor who implants you.

No. I hope I never do... but if we do, have your doc do the stretch test for a malleable. I was going to get a malleable implant, but the doc did not want to do a stretch test. I got a second opinion and the rest was history.

It will mostly maintain length.

I think an infection is one of the few possible ways to potentially lose length. Its not a guarantee length loser but it is possible.
This is why the better surgeons use the "one touch" process. Some implants come with an antibiotic coating. Many men wash with a special soap a few times before surgery. I'm sure the list goes on longer. The infection rate is very low for a reason.
It all goes back to a caring, highly skilled surgeon that cares about his craft & your outcome.

I did all of those things including the antibacterial soap the day of the surgery even. Doesnt change the fact that with enough surgeries infections become more and more likely.

Im going to be looking into immunostimulant drugs to take in addition to the antibiotics. There have the be ways to crush the infection rate to essentially nonexistant.

Getting an infection doesnt bother me. Its the fact that i have to lose size because of it that bothers me.
