Too small???

Postby Mark86 » Sun May 30, 2021 8:30 am

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the size of the implant that I received. I had my implant in early Feb of this year. I have the Titan One Touch, 21cm in size.

I followed the doctors instructions and have been cycling daily. Everything seems to have healed up nicely and smoothly.

I however think I may of ended up with a model that’s a bit too short. I have read through the forum and a few posts say that they feel quite a bit of pressure when they are nearly fully inflated. I can fully inflate my device to the point that I can’t squeeze anymore out of the ball no matter how hard I try.

Before I go back to the doctor I wanted to find out if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Where do your rods end? Mine ends just before the start of my head, are they meant to end in the head? Because of this I can manipulate my head quite a lot, bending it nearly 90 degrees even when inflated.

Should I speak with the doctor about a revision.

Finally got Titan one touch Feb 21.

Mark,
I can understand your concerns. I was in the same situation until my revision.
My first implant was Titan OTR 18+1.I never felt that titan was stretching my penis and did not have feelings of pressure pain in the glans.
Additionally, my implant was improperly installed with right RTE crossover to left crus which was giving me pain in the penile base and perineum.
I had my revision last December. My new urologist said in the consultation that I was very possibly undersized.
On revision, I received AMS 700 CX with 21 cm + 1.5 cm RTE.
In my case, difference is very visible. And, AMS is excellent fit for me and my anatomy.

Something appears to be wrong.
The tips should go quite a way into the glans.

Definitely tell the doc and don't accept any BS.

There are some doctors that have difficulty in getting the cylinders placed properly. And there are a number of different reasons for this. One is outlined in the post by MK1965. But there are other reasons for this. The term you can do a search for and read about is Glans Hypermobility. In this case some less skilled doctors will suture the Glans down on to the cylinder tips. While other more skilled doctors will remove and replace with proper size and located cylinders. Insurance may play a big roll in this as my BCBSKS hates to pay for a device the first time let alone for another one. So yes contact your doctor and ask if he/she does replacements. If not ask where he/she sends men to for this. My local doctors do implant surgery for the first time but do not do replacements. Again I think a lot of this has to do with my insurance.

Welcome to the site. I am sorry your first post has to do with this problem. You might want to go to your user control panel and click the Profile tab to create a signature. And put your information in it like some of us do. This way you will not have to keep typing it in every time you post and others can see this to help answer your questions with out having to ask you the information each time.

Best of luck going forward with.

I think that if you can bend the head 90* when inflated your rods are not long enough. Mine go at least halfway into the head.

Just curious to know if you had "snake eyes" after the procedure.
They are used to ensure the cylinder tips go into the glans properly.
At least that would show that the doc followed procedure.

I guess all bets would be off it the cylinders were too short.

Yep, something is wrong if you can bend you dickhead that far. The rods should go into your dickhead. Its call floppy glans, and it makes your shaft straight, but then your dickhead just looks like its flopped over.
I would not say too small, but not properly placed.
