How much time did you wait from the day your implant stopped working to the day you got it replaced?

26 yo from Italy.Peyronie's disease probably since 2015.Since then,penis bends of about 20-25°. PD keeps progressing. Moderate ED since 4 years and things getting worse.From pornstar-like to depressed, but still fighting for a solution.

That hasn't happened to me yet thankfully, but I envision duration of downtime for my future implant failure will between the moment of failure, until the next open enrollment period for my work's insurance, so I can take the maximum option for my flexible spending account. That is unless I have some sort of situation where I've already had some high-dollar out-of-pocket costs in the same year and then it would be as soon as possible BEFORE my next open enrollment.
Conceivably I could wait as much as a full year in my vision of what the future might hold. That is if it fails before I turn 65 (in five years). If mine lasts for the next five years, I may opt to do Medicare with supplemental insurance and drop my employer sponsored insurance. In that case it would be ASAP, period.

It is my understanding & I can easily be mistaken on this. Generally they want to see a 6 month wait from the last penile surgery. So, if you've had an implant for lets say 1 year. A revision could be done as soon as all the parties are ready. I.E. insurance, doctors & facilities.
Just from memory. I think I've read about several members that basically describe their revision along this time line.

When I thought I was short sized, both my doctor and Allen Morey told my specifically that 3 months was the wait before they would do a revision. It could be that in my case that they both just happen to practice the same timeline.
