Tactra
Not a lot of malleable use here but maybe someone can answer 'in general'...I had a Tactra implanted 1 week ago (May 18 2021) and I lost 1.5 " (shocking I know). I even made an appointment with the surgeon 2 days before surgery to confirm pulled length was going to appoximate length. He agreed so I went along with the surgery. Big mistake...he totally ignored me (again, shocking). Anyway, my question to you gentlemen is....if you use traction will the pseudo capsule (hope I'm using the correct spelling) stretch so I can make up the lost length when I'm able to have a revision done? When Dr. Kramer's videos were up, he kept mentioning the 'pseudo capsule'. I imagine it's basically conduits of scar tissue in the corpora from the dilation exercise. Thanks in advance for your assistance. 54...Tactra implanted 5/18/21 (Troy/Chicago).

My understanding of the pseudo capsule is that it is our bodies way of treating a foreign object. It surrounds it to protect us from it by sealing it off. In some men the fluid inside this capsule around the components of the device have infection in it that is sealed off from us so it cannot do us any harm. In an inflatable device this can prevent the implant from expanding in late activation cases. https://www.researchgate.net/publicatio ... prosthesis As your malleable does not expand then this will not apply to you. You might try to contact one of the big name guys like the FL doctor that has the "Meet The Penis" show and ask them about what to do. I am not a doctor but if I was to guess I would say VED therapy but that might lead to floppy glans and be a problem if you keep the malleable for a period of time. If you are going to swap out the malleable as soon as possible say 6 months or less and have no intent of using it then that might be a way to proceed. In the second surgery that pseudo capsule is removed. VED therapy would help keep you tissue healthy but don't go crazy with it. Like stretching and other things you can cause damage that causes scar tissue that can cause size loss instead of gain.

Thank you very much for your quick response. This industry is really pathetic...science can send a guided craft to the edge of the universe but this is what they have provided us. Women can have their breasts and vag brought back to when they were teens and we have the same garbage engineering on par with Ford and GM. Pathetic.

Well this is like the female plastic surgery in that there are good and not so good doctors. And then there are the ones the Hollywood stars go to. Or in the world of sports there are knee doctors for the pro players. And it also depends on the area of the US and world that your live. They are working on a electric powered pump control unit for this but information is that it is 5 years out. And when I first heard about it 3 years ago it was 2-3 years out so I have no idea when we will see it.
So this needs to be said again to research your doctor and other doctors in your area. Look for one that will do at least 25 a year. And ask how long he has you wait for activation. And the most important thing is if he does revisions and repairs of other doctors mistakes. If he doesn't ask where he sends men for this and that would be your next doctor to interview.
As a side note a malleable does not deflate like a inflatable does so there is a very real risk of erosion of the glans. So the doctor puts in a shorter malleable so as to avoid this really bad problem.
