Tick, Tick, Tick -- 2nd Appointment With Dr. Brady, Orlando FL

Postby Cigar56 » Mon May 24, 2021 5:27 pm

Let's get ready to rumble!

So lucky me. I live in Orlando, FL, and based on my research, Dr. Jeffrey Brady is one of the best in the business when it comes to penile implants. Each time I meet with him, whether it is in person or via video chat he is dressed in his surgeon's scrubs looking ready to go.

On this visit he wanted to ask if I had been pumping with a vacuum pump to minimize loss of length once I undergo penile implantation. Sadly, I told him no, and that life had gotten in the way.

He told me no problem, but that I should get underway with that before we schedule a date for the surgery. As for the date, he said it's totally up to me, but that I should pump for a while first.

Dude reminds me of former Celtics great Larry Bird -- just cool as hell and ready to perform under pressure. Now I know why some people consider him one of the best urologists and penile implant surgeons in the country. I'm lucky to have him in my area.

I had been waiting for Medicare to kick in to pay for the implant, and now that I am 65, it will.

Hard times await! LOL.

Other stuff:

-- I am looking to have the surgery near the end of the year. Lots of stuff going on in my personal life right now. I am a solo entrepreneur and wifey and I just bought an expensive new house. I need to keep grinding for a minute before going under the knife and having to sit out for a while.

-- I told Brady that I wanted to have a vasectomy at the same time as the penile implant and he said no problem, piece of cake.

-- I asked him that while I am in this waiting period, could he bump me up from quadmix injections to pentamix injections and he said no worries.

All I can say at this point is that Dr. B. is one bad dude. Based on my early interactions, I highly recommend him.

I had a hard time finding any info on volume implanters in Florida. I wanted Eid no touch but was scared to travel so I resigned myself to Perito in Miami. They were quite inept at getting insurance approval and I heard about Jeff Brady in Orlando. He claims he is #5 in FL and #10 in volume in the US and answered all my questions about his technique and measurements. I had 7.5” before RP surgery and could only tolerate 15cc of Bimix giving me a 5” erection for 5 hours every time. The glans was spongy. Having sex was very different with a short dick. Brady told me about his vacuum device protocol and i found the pump gives me 7”. I had the surgery 5 days ago. AMX CX 21cm + 2cm RTE. I left there heavily bandaged with a very thick covering. All I could see was the tip of my penis with the catheter and I had a drain. I wasn’t sure if ice would even work it was so thick. I iced it all day 2-day 3. I was inflated and felt no pain.Day 4 removed bandage, drain, catheter and partially deflated. I have very little swelling and bruising. I think from what I have read on here the drain is a must. I’m wondering why Eid and others want cycling sooner but my doc wants to wait 8 weeks. I’m afraid I could end up 5” like the shots. I can feel the tips well into the glans which is good. It’s been 5 days, I think I will start cycling in a few.

21+2 cm is a very good sized implant! For reference I got mine done almost 3 weeks ago, a Coloplast Titan, and I have 23cm as well. My inflated length is about 6.75", which I expect to even increase some as I continue to cycle. I think you have nothing to worry about with your length.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

I read all the horror stories about the pain and didnt think I could tolerate sitting in an airplane all day after surgery.

I have a consultation with Dr Brady in March.

Can you tell me his pump protocol? I'd love to get started now.

Also, after implant how did your length turn out?
