After 3 years of denials, I am finally approved for the end of June

Been a long journey in regards to 3 years of denials by insurance and more recently my wife having zero support for this operation which is one of the many ahha moments that led to divorce.

Today, I opened the 3rd denial letter this year from Anthem for an implant. Then on the way to drop my son off at his aunts I got a call from Dr. Tatem telling me that I am approved and he can fit me in at the end of June.

Off to South Haven for a long weekend at the lake for a bachelor/bachelorette party, plenty to celebrate.
Age 37. Venous Leakage & Post Finasteride Syndrome (PFS) since age 18.

Finasteride 2005-11
Terrible
Side effects

Been having ED since 2011 with penile shrinkage...was totally impotent for a few months and penis changed
Low libido
Low T
Had kids along the way and recovered some
Function

Implanted w dr Eid June 10 2021

26yo from Italy. Psychogenic ed since dec 2019, got worse in Jan 2021. On Cialis 5mg every 24hrs, it works! But masturbation and sex bring me a lot of anxiety. On talk-therapy.
Update: diagnosed with slight Peyronie’s, investigating more on that

wow, I was so bummed when I heard things were cancelled because of insurance, but now ....wow !!!!

Lucky it only took me one denial. Think my surgeon sent insurance proof of failure with injections.

I sooooooo happy for you. I have been following your battler with your insurance plus the lacking of support from your wife (soon your ex-wife).
At your age, bionic and single (soon), pretty soon, you will feel like a king. Honestly, you have fought for it, you very much deserve to be happy.
Please follow your doctor's recommendations, don't freak out during the first week and remember, we are here to support you all the way.

Questions: Are you having an Infratpubic or Penoscrotal approach.
