Hey guys,
Has anyone got an infection 11 or 12 weeks post-op? It appears I may have one.. I'm heading to the doctor and then hospital now. How is this possible?

Infection can happen anytime with an implant. No matter what kind. With a penile implant this is rare but in the cases where it does happen are most common in the first year. This was one of the reasons I told my self that I would not judge the outcome of my surgery for a year.
Sorry to hear of your problem and I hope they caught it early and wish you the best of luck. Hope you have a fine surgeon and can be able to have the infected device removed and replaced with either another inflatable or a malleable. Or even better that they caught it early enough to treat it with medication and no surgery is needed.

How does one know if they have an infection or not? What are the symptoms?
A young guy in his early 30s from South Asia. Implanted Titan 22cm by Dr. Tariq Hakky in Atlanta (Dec 2020). Amazing doctor! No pain during recovery. My size is 5.75” x 4.6” which is better than pre-OP size of 5.6” x 4.5”. Hoping to gain more in future.

The symptoms I had were my scrotum was sore and swollen to double its size. I could no longer even find the pump. And my pubic area was extra sore and swollen as well.

What was your doctor's assessment and recommendation?
55 yo w 20 yrs of worsening ED. VL on US. Tried all PDE5-Is w decreasing efficacy. No longer tolerating SEs from meds. INJs did not work out well for me. Now sched for IPP w Dr. Eid in 12/2023.
