Coughing...way after implant

Hey guys, its been over a year for me post-op.
Right now, on top of these allergies, I have a cold. I cough a lot.
Coughing is disconcerting because when I cough, I could feel the reservoir area. I have a feeling that if I do get a coughing fit, it will be painful.
I have 'searched' on here about coughing, but looks like I am the only one that feels when I cough, after a year out, that this reservoir is uncomfortable.
I feel I have to 'hold' the cough from being a full cough because something may happen. It feels like I can push the reservoir out when I cough.

I don't have a problem with the reservoir when I cough (but I only have a 65ml spherical reservoir). What I do have issues with is my crus hurts when I SNEEZE really hard. It feels like I get a cramp in my perineum right in front of my ass but it goes away within 5-6 seconds. It's just a really sudden cramping or pressure feeling for a few seconds then it wanes.

The strange thing is, my rear tips don't even go that deep! My rear tips don't go but about a centimeter or two beyond the front of my pubic symphysis (lower part of pelvis, a.k.a., pubic bone).

I first noticed this odd pain the first time I sneezed after implantation, roughly 3 months after surgery and it still occurs to this day, 19 months later.

Hmmmm....I guess our bodies are responding in different ways. Sneezing is not a problem for me. I don't feel the tips in any way, shape, or form.
Anyone on here have issues with the feeling the reservoir after 2 years?

Sounds like you may have a inguinal hernia. I had one caused by the inflation of my body during the RP surgery. Showed up shortly after the implant. I also thought the reservoir or tubes was the problem.

Well, looked it up, so no bulging anywhere, but will bring it up with my Primary.

I'm only five days post-op. When I cough, I feel a short-lasting pain in the perineum area. I would think it comes from something in the body suddenly tightening up around the back end of the cylinders. I fact, all my discomfort this far comes from the cylinders and the pump. I'm not even clear about exactly where in my abdomen the reservoir is hidden; I have no awareness of it.

Then that is a good sign, lol.

Since you are just days after post-op, based on what you describe right now, things will feel 'artificial' for a while...pissing especially. When you piss, you will feel like you are pissing through a tube. This feeling goes away, but it takes a while.
As long as there is no great pain, you should be OK, but keep looking around here on FT with keywords on what you are feeling and where, otherwise, its:

Yeah, pretty sure, lol.
Coughing, cold, allergies....and no temperature! This is after several weeks of doing this...
I have been looking at my coughing more in detail.
Standing is not as bad as coughing while sitting down.
I mentioned that sneezing was not a problem, but I was wrong! Standing when sneezing is not a problem. Sitting is when there is a problem.
